For an excellent post Christmas Break the Christmas Markets in Lubeck are a must the atmosphere is traditional and has a wide variety of stall, having just arrived back home Dec 2007, it was a wonderful way to walk off all the Christmas food looking around the different stalls in the town. We went to Lubeck and Travemunde end of November 2002, it was excellent! the atmosphere, the history, the GENUINELY FRIENDLY people made our christmas market trip truly unforgettable.The markets in the city of Lubeck captured a magical christmas atmosphere that we appear to have lost in commercialism? you must taste the hot and spicy grog drink(and potent!) and spit roasted... more
