This hidden courtyard labyrinth is full of fascinating sculptures, fountains, beautiful facades and little cafes and shops. If you are fan of beer, definitelly visit craft beer shop in of the yards. We unfortunately saw it only at afternoon, but it has it own charm too.

Graffiti elevated to art and other artful additions to otherwise boring house facades. Very diverse and fun to explore the backyards (Hinterhoefe) in this neighborhood.

This is a quirky passage, with some lovely shops and boutiques, but the highlight is the artworks. Everywhere you look there is great details. The cafes are good too.

Europe is beautiful and historic, so it was a nice change of pace to see something SUPER modern and unique. Unfortunately it was not raining while we visited, as the blue building has piping that makes music from the rain! Filled with cute shops, worth a quick visit!

Do visit this unique place if you are with young adults. They would find these funky displays enthralling. This area has several interesting exhibits like the courtyard of elements, with singing drain pipes, the courtyard of animals, the courtyard of light, the courtyard of mythical creatures and the courtyard of metamorphosis. These are all works of freelance artists and beautiful... More

A niche collection of independent shops including gifts, paper, craft beer and cafes too. Do take in the painted walls around with animals and other designs

I found this place to be wicked cool. Interesting artwork on the alleyway walls and a nice mix of eclectic shops and eateries. One of the features was a Dr. Seuss style water system that started at the roof tops and wound its way down to the ground through a series of steel pipes, tubes, and funnels. (All attached to... If you are in the area, or if you want to make a visit to Neustadt then Kunsthofpassage is a good place to go. However, it is small and quickly done. On the plus side: there are a lot of little restaurants and cafes in the area, so a good alternative to eating out in Altstadt.
