Reading a history of dresden it can be realised that this riverfront promenade was once a social hub of the city. Now it is OK but probably just the haunt of tourists like us.

Really enjoyed walking along here and taking in the magnificent views of the city. Also lots of benches to relax and watch the world go by.

As you climb the wide stairs to the Terrace, acknowledging the 4 lovely statues illustrating the 4 times of day, on your right is a law court. Once on the upper deck, and a walk under the shady trees, I headed for the rail. What a terrific view of the river, a bridge left and right, a busy road underneath... More

A great place to enjoy a coffee and people watch, the terrace is also great for a stroll to enjoy various views, get great photos and watch the historic steamers on the... More

My husband and I visited Dresden on a beautiful sunny day in early March. We took a leisurely walk along the terrace, the views of the river and the surrounding buildings were amazing. Dresden is a beautiful city and it was very enjoyable walk.........

This is a wonderful walk with beautiful views of the river and the majesty of buildings along it- as well as lots of trees and flowers in spring, which add to the ambiance.

I walked along the Bruehl's Terrace on a sunny morning. It was lovely as there were few people there. From the Terrace you get a good view on the Elbe river and Neustadt on the other side of the water. On the Altstadt side you walk past the Albertinum and you can even see the Frauenkirche peak out above other... More
