Imagine the parties, weddings, etc. at this venue. Great place to sit, relax and ponder the past. Appreciate this beauty and it's history. The porcelain chimmes are not all that great but why not listen at least once.

It´s amazing just to walk around and feel the architecture - unbelievable how they reconstructed it after being destroyed at the end of the WWII.

Not only is the Zwinger itself breathtaking, but every room has an amazing collection of paintings. I could have easily spent 3 days in the museum alone. Will definitely come back next chance I have!

The Zwinger Palace offers the convenience of four museums in one location. I visited the Old Masters Gallery and the Armory. I did not have time for the Porcelain Collection and the Math and Physical Instruments portion was under renovation. The Old Masters Gallery has extraordinary pieces dating back 500 years or more, including Raphael's Sistine Madonna. Beyond the price... More

I come here more or less on every visit to my old home town. This time around I went to the Armoury and the Gemäldegalerie Alte Meister as the last visit to either of them was about 20 years ago... There is a combined ticket one can purchase for both museums but a photo licence (in the armoury only) costs... More

I have visited many of the great palaces of the world and this is my favorite. The exterior is matchless, even if the interior is surpassed by some others.

We only perused the perimeter and the courtyard but were nonetheless impressed with the building. The fountains were off for the winter, and we arrived at a time of day when admission inside was not available, so we took to strolling around the courtyard, which had lots of great photo-ops!
