The café at the Wharf is being refurbished, but a few minutes walk away are 3 or 4 very good café/restaurants, with views of the river. I would recommend the 2-hour boat trip to (or from) Saarburg, if you do not wish to spend the whole day on the river.

A quaint area of old houses restored ,( some being restored & others needing restoration) with terrace areas opposite for outdoor dining.Buildings date from the 18th century.Beautiful doors & portals.
