This is one of the gems and charms of Kaiserslautern particularly in Spring. The first few opening weekends can be too busy, but then the mass settles down and you have the garden to yourself. and there's an awesome Japanese restaurant around the corner.

A nice and beautiful garden close to KL city center! Peaceful and with a pleasant bar inside. Great place to read a book and rest during the summer!

My husband and I went here late last year; it's such a lovely landscaped area. It has little places to sit here and there among the various Japanese gardens, and there is one place that you can get something to eat or drink (I had a shot of sake...when in Rome...). I recommend going out there for a visit if... More

Rather small but comprehensive - as far as I can tell about similar gardens. Very nice plants and water installations, big fish, relaxing atmosphere. Almost drove past even though next to main road. Close by is a big shopping mall for those looking for counterweight for relaxation...

We were there back in May of this year, loved the Gardens, very beautiful, The gardens, the arrangement. Very seldom is there a crowd. The gift shop is a bit over priced, the employee is not so friendly, however the experience was enjoyable. I think one must see it at least once.

Really a very nice and peaceful place to enjoy in the city. I don't know how authentic it is as I haven't been to Japan, but it's relaxing fun to go there, Amenities available.

If you are nearby and want a nice peaceful afternoon with good weather, this is a place to go. Admission is 6.5 euro per adult. Compared to other Japanese gardens, it is about par; some better, some worse. In bad weather, it would not be enjoyable.

Very small garden. Noise of traffic counters Meditative possibilities. Parking a chore. A bit of a walk, but there are many other things to do around the area. Would be good to combine early dinner, garden, then the theater. Food available but it is just snack food. Takes about 10 minutes to walk though. More if you are stopping for... More
