If you are nearby and want a nice peaceful afternoon with good weather, this is a place to go. Admission is 6.5 euro per adult. Compared to other Japanese gardens, it is about par; some better, some worse. In bad weather, it would not be enjoyable.

Very small garden. Noise of traffic counters Meditative possibilities. Parking a chore. A bit of a walk, but there are many other things to do around the area. Would be good to combine early dinner, garden, then the theater. Food available but it is just snack food. Takes about 10 minutes to walk though. More if you are stopping for... More

My daughter and I visited this attraction in July. It was very well cared for and not really busy when we were there. Very peaceful and tranquil to walk on the paths. There are places to sit along the way and gaze at the beauty before you. They have fish and ducks to see in the pond. Also, there is... More

Quite lush garden in Kaiserslautern. A little difficult to find and no available parking, you must find parking nearby and walk. A decent variety of buildings and garden types.

It's hard to beat a Japanese garden in the spring when the cherries are in their glory, no matter where it is. But as an aficionado of the genre worldwide who spent considerable time in Japan observing the real deal, there was no point in my visit that I forgot I was in Germany. If you are willing to suspend... More

Pretty, but small. It is price place to remove yourself from busy city life. Not huge, but just a niCe, quiet place to stroll.

This is a very nice garden but don't count on it taking much of your day. It's relatively small but it's a nice environment to enjoy a slower paced day and have lunch or drinks. Nice getaway within the city limits.

Having read the reviews saying it was small I was expecting a much smaller garden. When I got half way through it I thought I was at the end and I still was surprised by how large it is. Size wise it's no Kew Gardens, but I still really enjoyed my visit here. We made a slight detour to stop... More

My husband and I were staying in K-town for a couple of weeks and decided to visit the garden because there really isn't much to do in the city. Just keep in mind that it is a very German thing to go outside and enjoy the weather on a nice day. The point of the garden is not to walk... More
