Nordpark is a nice park especially in the Spring when the Cherry Blossom and Magnolia tress are in bloom. There is a nice cafe and restaurant as well as children playgrounds. The Aquazoo is also located in the park but it currently closed for renovations.

Built during the time of the national-socialists the garden and some of the scultures seen there cannot hide their origins. For people interested in (garden) history and those wanting to relax. Attached there is also a Japanese Garden.

Very pretty park with formal gardens and water fountains, then lots of walks among the big old trees and grassy areas. Nice place to take a picnic and a book and just chill out and relax. It is right next to Aqua Zoo which is a lovely place to visit if you like aquariums and fish.

Absolutely gorgeous park! Definitely worth a visit as it was my favorite park in the area, by far. Perfect for an afternoon stroll in the summer or fall!

A wonderful excuse for a walk along the Rhein is to visit this beautiful park. It is quite historic and is a symbol of endurance and the hope that nature always brings. I found it a lovely park to visit and also enjoyed the exhibition in the Ball Haus as well as a typical "altbier" at the restaurant. It is... More

Good fun for the kids. Other than that not that great. Have seen better aquariums else where. There wasn't anything that stood out. Just the usual. The penguins area was alright, but the rest nothing noteworthy. Not worth the 7 Euro price tag. Easily accessible via the subway (U-Bahn) is the only plus point for me. Off course, with kids,... The Nordpark in Düsseldorf is huge and like an oasis in the middle of the city. People are taking care of it well and it is beautiful with the fountains. It is a very nice area to go to especially in summer time. Only the Japanese garden with the Nordpark is a bit disappointing because it is quite small.

I enjoyed wandering around this park on a warm August afternoon while my husband was working. The fountains and flowers were beautiful, the atmosphere very peaceful. I enjoyed the small Japanese garden in the back, as well as watching German families enjoying the day and each other.
