Went to Konigsalle early in the morning, so it was very quiet. Perfect place to have your morning jog, walk your dog, or simply read your book. Very green and lush and calming. If you want to shop, there's a shopping district right across the street.

This is the place to be - so check it out and enjoy a stroll, take in the beauty and have a break in the Cafe's along the road.

apparently they call the Sloane-ranger types Ko-Tussis. (aka Konigsalle bimbos). We enjoyed looking out for them. If you like shopping then yeah, this is great, especially if you come from a small town or the countryside. As Londoners, however, the shops all looked pretty much like home (warning - I am NOT a keen shopper, so you may disagree). But... More

The Ko is well worth checking out if you have an hour or two to spare. If you're into window shopping or have deep pockets and a hankering for the latest fashion, you should stop by. It's mainly high-end designer shops, with a few local flavors thrown in. In particular, we enjoyed the Wusthof knife store and there's one that... More

The shops running parallel to the canal are great for an afternoon look around. There is such a range of shops it would be hard to not find what you are looking for. Would recommend to the more shopaholic people, Lovely area of dusseldorf to spend some time!

This area is not only beautiful as you stroll next to the waterway but there are many opportunities to dine at one of the delightful sidewalk restaurants and shop the upscale boutiques and stores. There is also a lovely sculpture and garden area located at the beginning of the Konigsallee. Also an easy walk to Old Town.

This street seems to me like a russian outlet. No flair, nothinmg special. Just the brands you see all over the world. Plenty of russians around - which could be oK. But the ones we meet hat all very poor manners.

Beautiful promenade constructed in the 18th century now famous for shopping . Interesting architecture in side-streets close by.

koenigsallee is all about money and shopping, not things I like but our hotel was on this very street so we spent a lot of time here. It's a very nice street, separated by the lake and the trees and the atmosphere is very laid back and its good to just sit at the fountain or one of the cafes... More

Although the restaurants along the street are a 'bit' expensive, it is a nice place to have a walk and enjoy your day! Dusseldorf is so green and the river between the roads makes it even more beautiful!
