ran into it when finding my way to museum. wandering inside of it to find my lunch. very thriving open market but not cheap.... better organized than open market in Rotterdam in blaak, but more expensive. but a good place to feel dussorduff if you are a tourist.

If you are looking for a great street market in Düsseldorf, visit this one! You have all types of food and qualified ingredients: cheese, meat, sauces, spycies, flowers...and the best Fish soup in town!!! Go for it!

A nice little market with a lot going on. All the sellers were patient with our attempts to speak German and the bratwurst and frikkadellen were delicious. We went back the next day and the bratwurst lady remembered us, which was lovely.

A great little market to wander round, selling fresh fruit, veg, flowers, cheese, fish and meat. Several stalls also selling appetising street food. Well worth visiting if you are passing.

But having parked, this afforded me the opportunity to use the market as a starting place to additional attractions. The market itself is compact and in the main food related. So great for buying fresh... More

We had 5 hours transit time in Dusseldorf airport so we decidec to take S-Bahn 11 from terminal to hauptbahnhof, 12 minutes. From there we had a nice walk to Old town and came to this crowded, but cosy market place. Lots of people, all dressed German- like well. We had currywursts, German specialty consisting of bratwurst and ketchup with... More
