Spent a couple of hours in Cologne thermal baths. (Euro15, weekend Euro17) Lovely steam bath where you keep your swimming costume on. Enjoyed the hot pot with cloudy thermal water most. Also a great activity is the Kneip pool where you bathe your feet and dip your arms in hot and cold water. Good for your circulation and refreshing. We... More

Cologne was originally settled by Romans due in part to the thermal spring/baths here. I spent an afternoon at Claudius Therme using the "Fine Time" package. For 69 euro, I got 2 hours of swimming time in the amazing variety of warm/hot/freezing pools or the sauna area (bathing suit compulsory in pool and forbidden in sauna); a 30 minute massage... More

This is one of the best such places we have visited, with four separate areas to enjoy. The first is the spa area, with a variety of pools, jaccuzzis, bubble jets etc. both indoors and out. From here, there are three sauna areas: two outside and one inside. The indoor sauna area has a variety of different types and temperatures... More

A nice Therme, with multiple pools, various water temperature and bubble baths. The sauna and steam rooms are also really nice. (compulsory to be naked though). Open till late so you can even go there after a long day of walking around the city in cold.

Great place, especially to get away from the karnival for a few hours. Theres lots of different saunas to try and different pools. I dont like the fact its compulsory to be nude (being british!) But i know this to be normal in germany so i tried to overcome my english prudeness and relax but its hard to when your... More

Went here a day or two after Christmas and after a couple days of walking around in the cold, this place was a fabulous retreat. We arrived around 4pm and had to stand in line for roughly 30min which made me skeptical about our choice and I feared I'd be entering an over-crowded water park but I was pleasantly surprised.... I walked there from near the Dom, which took a while, in the drizzle, and then got a bus back to Koln Messe rail station (no 150, stops directly outside the therme every 30 mins). I should have read the reviews on here first! I think I missed some outdoor saunas, but still on thur 18 dec there was lots... More

I went to this spa after reading the reviews on TA. It was a cold and rainy day so it seemed the perfect activity. I walked there from the cathedral Dom which took about 30 minutes. Even though it was raining I had a pleasant walk along the love lock bridge and it's about 15 min walk to the spa.... More

Went on a Saturday evening in December for 2 hours with partner. Had optional massage (extra euros) which was good and relaxing Pros: - Felt very safe/comfortable re. the nudism - Lots of facilities such as a big pool, whirlpool, many saunas, wet rooms, etc. so wasn't busy/crammed - Very clean - Indoor and outdoor areas (which were both equally...
