It is hard to get tickets for this team, 1.FC Köln. But if you can do not hesitate to go here. It is a nice experience to visit a match. In the Bundesliga you can sit everywhere. If you are an away supporter you still can easily sit on the home side. And that's how football should be lived.

Had a chance to see Germany play Azerbaijan a few years ago. The stadium was great, took the train in, walked in and watched the game. I don't think there is a bad seat in the house and to watch Germany play a I would sit on thumb tacks.

FC Köln won the game 2-0, a good boost for their promotion race to the bundesliga. Big relegation worries for the visitors from Bielefeld. One of the better new stadiums in Germany. Amazing to see fans from both teams travelling in the same tram without problems!

We saw Koln notch up a 2-0 victory at the Stadium. Fantastic beer, great Sausages and cracking atmosphere. The crowd were really up for it, the flags were waving the drums were banging. I enjoyed the fact the fans were singing, drinking and smoking...it feels like what football should really be like!

The RheinEnergie is probably my favourite German stadium! Although not the largest, the atmosphere from all 4 stands is electric, with fans singing for the whole game. Views are spectacular from the back of the Nord Tribune (tickets less than 25 Euros). Easily accessible by Tram No.1 from the city centre, or on foot (a 2.5 mile walk, but plenty... More

Easy to reach via tram if you give yourself enough time before a match. Facilities good and clean but buying a beer at half time proved difficult - could do with more kiosks.

Away fans position is not great behind North Goal and in the corner. Should be more central position as ticket price is same as better placed home fan seats.

We watched a game of football here, and there were over 40.000 spectators!!! This was a game in the second level, and against a team close to relegation. Wonderful and large stadium with very nice VIP-facilities. Different food and beverages served from two hours prior to kick off until a few hours after the game. Brilliant! The ambiance is better... easy access from train stop, reasonable food and drink prices, well maintained park, great place for a concert! Not too big, great view of the stage, friendly staff. Would enjoy another event there
