Up there you have a view over Cologne and its surroundings. I really enjoyed it! The elevator is very fast, it takes you only a few seconds to get to the rooftop. Do not expect any kindness of the workers at reception. They are very rude!

The view is nice although the lift is a bit expensive (3 €), glasses don't allow to take decent pictures.

If you want to get a bird's-eye view of the city, I'd recommend the Triangle instead of Koelner Dom. There is a lift here and no bars, you get perfect view through the glass walls which also protect you from the wind. Would be a great idea to make a restaurant up there.

I have never been so disappointed in an "attraction". Unless you have never been in a 20+ story building before, you will not be impressed by the "view". I guess if it's the only way you can get a broader view of the city and if you want to throw 3 euros down the drain, go for it. But I... More

No need to explain. €3 for amazing views and you get to walk over the love locket bridge (which you have to do anyway).

This building offers terrific views of the Dom and all the other important parts of Cologne. Situated just across the river from the train station it is a pleasant walk from the main station or other nearby tram/train stops. It offers 360 degree uniterrupted views from around 29 stories high. The admission was a very reasonable €3 per person. No... More

It's only €3 to get a lift to the top, where you get a great view of the whole city. The queue for the lift can get a bit congested though.

Very cheap and with a beautiful view. We had luck, since it was very sunny and able to see up to Siebengebirge and Bonn. And yeah, you get that typical "Cologne-View" there. Epic!
