The tower block offers a great vantage point for taking photographs of the cathedral on the opposite side of the Rhine. The lift takes less than a minute for you to get to the viewing platform and at just 3 euros it's great value.

This viewing point is spectacular - a good way to spend a half hour or so looking at the city and the river Rhine. The lift that takes you to the top takes about 1 minute to go up 28 floors and so I guess it must be the fastest way to change your view point (the cathedral offers views... More

We did not knew about this place. We saw that there are people on top and saw the posted at the base, so we went in. You get a very good view from the top. As I am very passionate about trains, I could spend a whole day over there, watching the very busy train stations that are near this... More

This is located just on the other side of the bridge with all the padlocks, well worth a visit. Costs 3€ to get in, up in a lift which has disabled access to the 24th floor. View from the top is outstanding. Very safe for kids as there are glass walls up all the way round, with etchings on showing... More

If you have got an hour before the train and had nothing planned, go over the bridge and get into that tall building and have a paranormic view of Cologne. I liked it very much. The reception is very friendly.

Entrance fee of 3 Euro per person (kid belon 12 yrs old is free) is needed here. The lift brings us to 28th floor with very good suspension (you will not feel that you are in lift while it moves). On the top, the view is excellent. There is 360 deg of Cologne view here. Obviously during sunny clear day,... More

It did worth to sit on the line and wait for the elevator to take you up. Even if it was crowded, everything did move fast, and can tell you, that we did wait more for coming down than for going up. The weather was perfect so we managed to see even Bonn (I think). Around the glass wall on... More
