the view from the top (29th floor I believe) is quite good on a day where there is some sun. I wouldn't bother on an overcast day. The view of the river, cathedral, bridge and city of Cologne are taken in from the observation deck. The only drawback is that reflections from the windows sort of ruin the pictures. If... More

I thought the view was a little overrated. It was nice to see the city from above and I liked that along the glass windows they had drawings of what you could see but it wasn't really my cup of tea. Spent about 15mins looking around and that's all that was needed.

Actually I liked this view better than from the dom. There is information on the windows, what the buildings are. It is just very nice and worthwile to go there!

You should do this when you are in Cologne the view is excelent. Tobad it was not open after nightfall when we went, but even during the day you can take great pictures here.

If you don't want to climb all the way up to the top of Cathedral, or you want to have a photo with Koelner Dom, this is a place you should visit. The ticket is not much considering to have a panorama experience.

For only 3 euros, this view can't be beat! If you use the train/tram system, it's easy to find and rarely crowded. You can see the cathedral, the river, and plenty of downtown. Worth a trip if you have the time.

One more lookout point in Cologne from which you have the most beautiful view on the old part of the city. Of course, from here is the best view in the Cologne Dom. 28 floors with a lift, a piece of cake after 533 steps of the tower, and all this for a ticket of 3 euros. Enjoy!

Offers a great view of the city, including the river, cathedral and old town. Good if you can't/don't want to climb the cathedral tower for the view, although it is a bit out of the way on the other side of the river.

Just behind the Hyatt, thought we might as well do it. Lucky for us we got it for free as there were spare tickets in the machine. Still very cheap so worth a look for some very nice views,

Walking on other side of Rhine earlier evening, we assumed it's a disc in there on top floor. Next day when we alighted from Hop-on hop-off bus stop 3, we thought the main attraction was Koln Messe/Deutz station. But when we started our journey towards 'The Lock Bridge' then we stumbled upon it and boy! was it a discovery or... More
