An interesting look at chocolate from the plant (there are some on show) to your palate. Sadly the taste only consists of a sample on the end of one wafer. There is also a cafe with river terrace to fill the gap left by that hint of chocolate.

Very impressive structure to begin with (set in the Rhine) and the displays all meld together into a very enjoyable and agreeable experience. The chocolate fountain is best enjoyed with a spoon (bring one with you) and picking up some freshly made product on the way out makes for great presents.

We would have liked to see more actual cocoa beans being made into chocolate, rather than just pictures and written explanations. Also the chocolate sold in the shop can be bought much cheaper in England, although there was of course a wider choice here.

We ended up spending 3 hours at this museum as it was very engaging and interactive for both the adults and our nearly 6 YO daughter. great way to spend a rainy day!

Nice place to visit. Great shop for all things chocolate. While interesting, I think this museum is best visited with children.
