Bonn is a lovely city and Beethoven´s house? Simply must see! You can enter rooms where Beethoven stayed and lived, you can see lots of handwriting partiture, see some of his music instruments, listen to Beethoven music pieces and read about him.

I loved to visit the Beethoven House and learn a bit more from this great musician. The entree is 6 euros, you can see where he lived until 22years old, very interesting!

There was a lot to see in this museum even though it is small. The old building creaks as everyone walks through and some may find this quite irritating. A lot of history is told here. One in our group tried the audible translated head set which saved a bit of reading but it dictated the order of going through... More

The house where Beethoven was born and brought up prior to his move to Vienna contains a small collection of interesting articles, pictures and musical instruments. Not a huge museum, but offers an interesting insight that even managed to keep our 4 and 6 year olds interested. Well worth a visit.

But could be better. Please, tourists come from everywhere, please spend the more than average 6 euros entry fee to translate all the pieces of information, not just the brochure, I felt I missed a big part of it

This was an experience and a half !!! Beethovens family home is a must see when visiting Bonn . Considering he was such a giant in the classical world, his presence in the city is really understated ..... This is endearing and so unlike Vienna where every corner you turn Mozart look a likes are promoting his work !!! The... More

I enjoyed this attraction. It was a must see as being in the area. I also was involved with sheet music for several years and enjoyed his works. Musical instruments were encased in plexiglass so you cannot touch. The museum is tucked away off the walking path of the street. It resembles a regular store until you walk in. It... More

Honestly, whoever stays in Bonn or visits this awesome city should know that Beethovenhaus is a main site in this city. I stayed couple of months in this city and had eventually to visit Beethovenhaus. You can easily take the tram to reach it, it is located in the middle of a shopping area. The tram stop is even called... More
