a very nice and interesting tour of the great composer's life and work. Close to the city centre, very good indicated and labeled, in a quiet and picturesque street. Cosy and very modern museum, not expensive, worth a visit. You may listen to and enjoy maestro's masterpieces.

Tour of the building is 6 Euros and you can not take pictures of anything inside. Everything was in German although we were given a pamphlet in English. Audio guide was available for 2.15 Euros with a 10 Euro deposit. There is no parking near the facility so you have to park in a garage and walk about 4 blocks

Very interesting though not huge. It is literally the house where Beethoven was born and lived, 12 rooms in all but very cheap entrance price. Lovely little shop. Amazing to think you are stood where he once was and to see his instruments and personal belongings is incredible. Well worth a visit.

Better than average, though I wouldn't say very good. This is probably a must for any classical fan, the artefacts on show are so very old and give a great feel for the music of that era, as well as information on the life of Beethoven. We didn't have any English audio going round - I'm sure it must be... More

Beethoven's house displays lots of artifacts associated with Beethoven, including instruments that he played. It is interesting to see, but most of the museum is in German which is as expected. There is a section where you can listen to Beethoven's collection. It will take no more than an hour's visit.

We listen to the classical music since our early years (some of us, at least) or happen to like it later in life. Yet, actually visiting a place a world renowned composer was born, lived and created at is a totally different experience. Realising it was this or that room... might bring goose-bumps... I truly enjoyed it and my recommendation... More

As a music student, although Beethoven is not my interest, it was worth to visit the house where he was born. Very disappointed that taking photos were NOT allowed.

Beethoven House is in Bonn, Germany. It's the birthplace of Beethoven. Entrance fees was not too expensive. Going inside the Beethoven house is like trip back in time into the time of Beethoven. Overall: 5 Stars

Having visited before on our own, this occasion was much more interesting thanks to an English guided tour. We learnt a lot more about Beethoven the person. Plus the fact that many items were destroyed during the war. We were lucky enough to have our visit enhanced by a recital on replica forte piano and a superb young lady pianist.... More
