You should be aware that if you want to book a tour in English you need to do so well in advance. I used the phone number in the literature but only got an answer phone for several days. I was there during Christmas market, so perhaps they were very busy. Its always possible to get into the Treasury (schatskammer... more

Very interesting architectural gem - so much nicer than Cologne Cathedral although not as big. Definitely worth visiting - as are the cobbled streets around. Spend a worthwhile half day in the immediate area - and don't miss the Treasury which has some fabulous exhibits. Not a huge amount to see in Aachen, but what is there is very worthwhile. more

...ist Aachen immer wieder. Hierbei sollte man den Dom nicht versäumen. Er erschien mir früher eher kalt und glanzlos. Aber... more
