Fun spiral climb

Climb the 100 spiral steps of this old light house for a great view. The 2 euro entrance fee helps maintain this structure. Good way to see the large ferry boats coming and going.

A historical landmark that should be seen before leaving Warnemunde. It was much nicer place to visit a few decades ago! Now, there are several restaurants and fast-food places surrounding it which distracts from its historical significance in an earlier era.

If you can make the climb, you are rewarded with a wonderful view. Those with claustrophobia or fear of heights should skip this one. Recommend.

We stopped here on a cruise and we went to the top of this lighthouse and the view on to the beach was simply stunning a complete masterpiece.

This Grand lighthouse dominates the beach with it's Uniquely bricked facade. For just a few Euros climb up the stairs and witness the Beaches, Alter Strom, Old Towne and the Sea from the tower that took about three decades to build over a century ago. If you are at all physically challenged just imagine the views or walk across to... More

For a few euros you may climb the spiral stairway up the inside of the lighthouse tower. From the viewing platform you can enjoy fine views of the town, the beach and nearby Rostock Harbour.

It is beautiful to visit on a beautiful day. But if you are up for thrills go there during a stormy weather! It is awesome! And it offers amazing ways to capture it

The area around the landmark is nice and the beach great for walking. It is really recommended to go there for a couple of hours just to stroll around.

There are two different levels where you can go outside the lighthouse to see the views--the higher one is a little precarious to get up, but the views are well worth it. Amazing sights in all directions. If you're not up for the top, the lower level gives you a good perspective as well. Highly recommended; the views of the... More
