Fabulous views out to sea

A bracing walk from the beach to the 105 foot high, tile clad lighthouse which is open in summer. Hot drinks at the nearby Teeport building.

Set at the town end of the beach area, there are a number of outlets in this location, for a fee you may climb the tower, just a short walk from the beach in one direction and the bustling harbour in the other, from the cruise port, around 20 mins walk via the train station tunnel, over the bridge turn... Saw the lighthouse on a recent visit and decided to go in. It only costs 2 euros and that is all it is worth. The climb to the top is not too difficult but contrary to others I thought the views were ok but you are not really high enough up for a really good overall view.

Wonderful air, absolutely worth a walk. Great burger restaurant right attached to the "5d cinema" where one can watch new movies in the market but with some extra effects ;). Parking is free from 19.

Just for 2 euros, you have the possibility to have a panoramic view of the beautiful Warnemünde and its long beach. The most suitable time to visit it and enjoy that view is when the sun sets. One should take into consideration that the steps are narrow and steep. Also, there is place only for one buggy inside the lighthouse.... More

The lighthouse was built in 1897. For only 2 Euros you can climb up it. There are 2 viewing platforms at different levels, both giving great views of the harbour and town.

If you're the kind of person who likes to climb to the top of church bell towers and other tall structures when in Europe, you should take advantage of this light house climb. It is very inexpensive, and the view from the top is incredible. It allows you the chance to really see the entire beach area, which is larger... More

This lighthouse in Warnemunde is worth a quick visit. For a small fee, you can climb the stairs to the top and have a 360 degree panoramic view of the town. You can see the beach, the ships, the restaurants and patios -- on a nice day, it is a really good view.

You can pay a euro to go to the top of the lighthouse but the line was fairly big so I didn't bother. Makes a good photo opportunity if combined with the 15 or so international flags 100 metres before the lighthouse
