We visited Rostock over Christmas to see the family and we took time to go to Karl´s Erlebnis Dorf to visit their new Eiszeit Attraction. A trip on the Orient Express starting in Paris via Vienna, Hungary, Istanbul and the Orient, all depicted in ice. You enter Eiszeit and you arrive in a -10C environment with different rooms where the... More

This was a very unique experience. So much to see and do! We loved watching all of the shows how to make Jelly, soap, chocolate bars, bread, and candy! Very interesting! We purchased several things as souvenirs to take back to Texas! If you are in this area you must stop and visit!! Lots of play areas for the kids... More

We just loved Karls - a great farmers market with homemade strawberry jams, freshly baked bread and lots of things to see and do. All the attractions are made with recycled materials and kids can have a lot of fun playing at the playgrounds and going on child-friendly rides! There is a petting zoo and an aquarium, that is well... More

Wow. I have never seen anything like it. It's mindboggling, there is so much to see and do. Yes, it's commercialized and you could spend a lot of money here if you wanted to but you don't have to. The entry is free and you can pay 10 Euros for a ticket that includes the admissions to a bunch of... More

Drove by on the way to Stralsund and thought, maybe we should stop on the way back. And so we did. We thought it would be a short stop, but we were wrong. The place is nothing short of amazing. Besides a large shopping area with strawberries in all imaginable ways and a large section of interior items there was... More

We all loved this place! We went there just to check it out, and we finalize buying one day full tickets for all family! At the end it worthed and was a lot of fun for my son specially but also for us! I can't really recommend one attraction, because all have its charismatic point and value! So long really... More

I loved the place, a lot to do for kids of various ages. I personally liked the store with all kinds of little decoration things to take home. What I did not like so much was the food, it was mainly fast food and not that great. The kids enjoyed the Erlebnis-Dorf!

When the ship docked, the sky was grey and we were on our way to town when it started to rain so we duck into the Karls shop. What a wonderful surprise! There were lots of things to see, the smell of food and coffee from the tea garden were very nice and we had a wonderful time selecting gifts.... More

Have only visited Karl's during the Ice Festival season. Went three years ago and have been back each year since. Always a good display, this years was very good. The surrounding shop sells a wide variety of products. Smells amazing too due to the strawberries. A little pricey but good for a one off.
