Auto Museum par excellence

A must see for any auto lover. The museum displays the complete history of the modern day cars. A very well kept car museum with specimens from early days till date.

We were on our honeymoon, and recently got married in Prague. Since we have 3 vintage VWs ourself, it seemed like a great trip! And it was. When we arrived, we were surprised on the size of the museum. And it reminded us of a run down strip mall. But the amount of VWs is impressive. Still, it reminds me... More

I couldn't resist the opportunity to see Herbie in person. I found so much more. An alternative look at history if one takes the time to look and reflect. Seatbelts? Lap or shoulder? Radio? Tape player? etc.

The history of VW is one of the most interesting in the car industry. The have done good in presenting it. We missed the emotional part a bit, maybe because a few months ago we had visited another car museum.

Great collection of Beetles , Campervans , Golfs etc. We were not offered a guided tour .Nice collection of souvenirs at very reasonable prices.Walked back... More

If you love vintage VW's and history of VW this stop is a must. Price of admission was very reasonable and we enjoyed seeing the automobiles that form the history of Volkswagon. I own a vintage VW camper so it was a must for me.

Although I'm not a car nut unlike my partner (hence why we went here), I really enjoyed myself, for me....... it was like wow how could it be so interesting. There were so many different VWs that we spent quite some time there. Ladies or gentlemen if your partner is a car nut & your winding your way through Germany,... More

For the Volkswagen enthusiast this is a must see in Wolfsburg. The museum houses a collection of of rare (an not so rare) VWs, mainly 1950's - 1980's but with some cars from prior and later years. This is primarily a display of cars so if you are not interested in cars, this isn't a destination for you. If you... More

If you are either a car buff or petrolhead or VW enthusiast, this is the place to come. It is a hidden gem that has basically no outer appeal to anyone but offers an amazing amount of insight once you are inside this museum. The museum itself is mostly dedicated to VW and its cars, as well as the cars... More
