From the 1887 horseless carriage to the 2012 Bugatti Veyron and everything in between, the Volkswagen Automotive Museum was incredible.

Loads to see & do make sure you leave enough time to go around the whole Autostadt park. Book yourself on to some of the driving courses they are well worth the money (would cost 3x as much to do the same course in the UK). Overall a very nice place to visit.

What a greta place to visit! The museum is crammed with Volkswagen from early models to current day rides. The place is stacked up high with every VW imaginable. A truly lovely and impressive collection of cars. There is a wooden Volkswagen Beetle even wooden tyres and wooden dahs and one made from basket weave. Definitely worth the entry fee... More

this was hard to write esp as im a hardcore VW fan!! the museum is good and worth a wander round, but considering the history with the company its really a small place with not a huge amount of variety. its not an easy place to find i thought too, its kind of tucked away and not really signed, but... Excellent value for money and friendly staff. The story of the VW factory is told in words and pictures, German and English. No other facilities

It amazes me that people can be so exited by and supportive if a company like VW. They past may have been ok but the present vehicles are poorly made and faulted. Pity the ritch past is now jaded and so many folks are disappointed.

Wow what can I say, the place is very easy to find its right opposite the large football stadium & is well sign posted, There is plenty of on-site free parking & free overnight camping with hook up for motor homes. The car park has patrolling security guards & is safe. The main entrance is very large & hard to... More

To avoid any confusion, this is not the museum in the Autostadt, but a separate smaller VW museum in town. They had some nicely displayed and quirky, different vehicles to look at and we spent an enjoyable hour or so looking around.

This museum is easy to move around in. Just go to the top and work your way down floor by floor. You will see historic cars, fast cars, expensive cars and rare cars. The exhibits are just fascinating and colorful. It was a great visit that is highly recommended if you are in the area and a VW fan.
