I drove across Europe to achieve a life long ambition as a dedicated air cooled Volkswagen enthusiast - and not once but twice, as I drove here last year and it was closed due to freak storm damage! Anyway, we visited Autostadt last year which was excellent. This is the original VW museum and contains rare one off prototypes which... More

I loved everything about it. If you take some time and read what is presented with each exhibition, you'd walk away with a new appreciation for human kind's ingenuity.

The place is very old, most if the written explanations are in german, the receptionist doesn't speak English an the "tour guide" neither. The collection... More

The Best of the Best. What an unforgettable experience we had at the Museum. We enjoyed every minute of it while looking and rekindling memories during the time when I was a kid. I Love Volkswagen!!

The Zeithaus was the highlight. All else, other than interactive exhibits and activities, was mostly hype.

This is my second visit, and I found that they completely changed the cars on exhibition. It practically has all makes of automobile from the earliest time, and exhibits are not restricted to VW Group cars but also other makes of importance in the history of car making. A must. I am impressed even though I am not a car... More
