This is a terrific reminder of the bravery of the Germans who fought at Waterloo for the Kings German Legion as part of the British Army. Many of them were Hanoverians. It is a well kept park, very simple with a monument with an eagle on the top.Nothing fancy or worth visiting

and Hannover does this at Waterlooplatz. You will see it easily; it is a large column surrounded by cannon. Read the pillars for the names of heroic soldiers who fought in the battle. Unless you have a specific activity or event planned, you can easily see and enjoy this site from a tour bus. It's a large, grassy area that is pretty, with a large column/statue, but beyond that, it's not anything that you would schedule considerable time visiting.
