The Tribute to Waterloo

A large monument with the famous eagle and lots of places to eat and drink. A nice break from the hustle and bustle of the city

Great beer garden in Waterlooplatz where the atmosphere was as good as the beer. Plenty of different variations of food also

Imagine yourself going way back in time and look around at the openness. The area you see is a former drill pad for German soldiers from the... More

Unless you have a specific activity or event planned, you can easily see and enjoy this site from a tour bus. It's a large, grassy area that is pretty, with a large column/statue, but beyond that, it's not anything that you would schedule considerable time visiting.
