Lovely, peaceful garden with a touch of drama

Beautiful gardens with fountains and flowers. A lot of little spaces where you can rest and enjoy the view.

Fantastic!!! It is a pity though, that the city of Hannover nowadays charges entrance fees. They gardens used to be for free. In any case from spring to late summer this is a must-see if you travel through Germany :)

I'm not a Gardening Fan by any means, and usually don't partake in Nature Tourism activities however our friends who live in Hanover advised this was a must visit. The gardens are amazing and very well maintained. It was a relaxing afternoon walking around the gardens and the museum which I highly recommend. I'm not sure if you're allowed or... More

The gardens are very beautiful and not overcrowded at all. Perfect place for a date or an afternoon walk. Recommend anyone visiting Hannover to go there.

Vast, ornamental 17th-century gardens with one of Europe's tallest fountains, plus open-air theater. What a wonderful place. The landscaping is beautiful with lots of miniatures and sculptures. Lots of places to sit, relax and enjoy the scenery. It was wonderful to experience all this during the day but I also had the chance to see in the evening a firework... More

When I was there, it felt like I travelled back in time or perhaps stepped into a Hollywood set. Bring some water and maybe a cap if you're headed there during the summer. Gets really freaking hot. I got a throbbing headache from it. Lots of trimmed hedges, flowers and statues..... definitely had that "grand" vibe to it. Towards the... More

Beautiful formal gardens for a visit of several hours. We arrived shortly after 11am, and first, spent time around the "water wall", by the time we got to the fountains, they had stopped. This also included the Water wall now without running water. This really lowers the magnificence of the whole place a lot. The mosaics in the Grotto were... More

The greenery is awesome . Nothing to regret. The landscaping is beautiful. Miniatures and sculptures give it an additional good luck. The water fountains are welcome during summers.

Although a lot of visitors the gardens didn't seem crowded. A lot of history attached to the gardens. Places to sit and enjoy the scenery also able to get a drink and/or something to eat.
