Breakfast in markthalle

We walked here to have breakfast , which was enjoyable. I bought olives , feta cheese, fresh bread etc all at a very reasonable price.

We stopped at a second floor stall, where the guy was preparing everything from scratch. Got a delicious pile of the freshest seafood and a plate of top grilled meat.yummy

Missed this building on the "red thread tour" as it doesn’t look like a market hall from outside. It’s a great place to grab an informal lunch or early evening snack as it has many small bars, cafes and take-away stalls inside. Also some bakeries and fresh local produce. Upstairs there's a Bahlsen factory outlet stall where you can pick... More

Great casual place to stop in for lunch or drinks. Patronized mostly by locals, so many choices. Colorful and Fun atmosphere. Start by walking through the stalls and watching what the locals order, then go back to your order favorite!

We entered the market when we were on our way to the rat house. It looked promising so we entered again on our way back for a complete check. We're very glad that we did. Better to get here hungry because the food is great and not expensive. A very good choice for people who are looking for market places... More

The Markthalle is not that big, compared with other food halls I've visited. But it is the place for a good breakfast or lunch. It is also very popular with the locals, always a good sign. Almost all the stalls where you can buy food, have tables and chairs. So come hungry.

Just enjoyed the place and will definitely go again, for those of you like to enjoy eating, just go you will love it. I especially enjoyed a kurdish iraqi family preparing spanish speciality fish dishes, they were really friendly and I loved their mixed fishes dish!

Such colorful pictures possible: cooked foods, pastries, produce - all just waiting to have their pictures taken. Come hungry. You won't know where to start. And the prices couldn't be cheaper: 1 Euro for breakfast, 3.50 Euros for lunch - a huge hot meal. I went back more than once.
