Roman Relics

Part of the old city wall built by the Romans. Recently restored and really nice to walk around. Ist in the middle of Wiesbaden and nice Shops/Restaurants are close by.

This a hidden gem, most people miss it. But its a really old structure that looks beautiful, too bad there's a bunch of regular stores on the sides.

While under construction, the site looks like it will be a good place to visit. Not that it is worth the trip out of the way just yet, but would be a good pit-stop.

If you are in the area, then by all means see it. Otherwise, not worth the time. This could become better in the future due to some improvements they are making.

This site is under going major construction although the collection of artifacts is still there the actual aquaduct has a beevy of construction obscuring the view. I do hope it gives it a more authentic look

I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to see the open air museum because there isn't much there. But, if you're already in the area, stop and take a look. It has the remains of a Roman aqueduct and some replicas of artifacts found in the area. (I'm pretty sure they're replicas and not originals, but I'm not 100%... More

Found in the old city, the "museum" is a collection of stone tablet copies of Roman items discovered in Wiesbaden. They are displayed along the road next to the Roman Gate (Römertor). They have dated the Gate to be from around 364-375 A.D. There is not much to see, but the few items give a glimpse of Roman history in... More
