Some nice looking buildings and places to stop and rest for refreshment. It's not far from the beaten track so worth the visit if you have the time.

When in Frankfurt, be sure to come by Berger Straße. There are plenty of good restaurants and bars up and down the street with outdoor “café style” seating. Here I had my first apple wine, great dunkel bier, visited an authentic Irish Pub, and a century old wine cellar.

An ok place to visit. Germany as it is in smaller towns, nothing special, nothing especially note worthy (except perhaps the very old houses at the top of Berger Strasse), but pleasant nonetheless. Good place to walk

This is a very interesting area to wander around and watch life go by. There are lots of little shops and restaurants and on certain days of the week there are flower, fruit and vegetable markets at the top end of Berger Strasse. We had a lovely morning tea at a quaint little cafe called La Maison du Pain.

Because of all the good reviews it had we were expecting more than what we saw. Perhaps it was the time of year (nov) but certainly nothing special, just a normal street with a few restaurants. Dissappionting.

There are lots of cafes and food vendors here. It's a great place to hang out and take in the city. Outdoor seating is everywhere and the sausages are great. You can walk from one end to the other pretty easily but if you need a break jump on the UBahn the underground.

The Berger Strasse is a long street with many faces and a lot to offer, especially small shops and restaurants. It is the focal point of Bornheim, a Frankfurt neghbourhood that is well-loved in the city. If you have time and the inclination you can walk its entire length, but most locals will use the underground train line to zoom... More

There is lots to see, plenty of eating choices, cafes and bars, hundreds of shops, clearly the best street in Frankfurt, and if you dont live in FFM, really worth the visit as its 5 minutes from the centre.

Great street to stroll along in search of elusive gifts or everyday wares, tons of food options. We went on a Wednesday and there was even a huge farmers market. The street is quite long so there's a lot to take in on both sides if the street. Parking however can be a little tricky. Finding a spot may be... More
