Completely underwhelming. I thought it was lined with hip and unique clothes shops etc Not at all. Waste of time.

Bergerstrasse is simply the best way to experience why we love Frankfurt- just a short walk from the high rise inner city it is a glorious cosmopolitan experience. Its lined with enough multi-cultural restaurants to eat your way around the world slowly. Yet at the North end- full of original half timbered buildings- it still has the old German Apfel... More

I like everything located on Berger Strasse! The perfect location for a Saturday of city exploring and window shopping.

To walk down through Berger Street is very nice in quiet and cold winter time,However,if you are here in summer time, food, drinks and live music during a whole weekend. We can say that one of the city's best street festivals.Recommended.

It is a street which is very eclectic. A real mixture of everything. It was fun walking down one side the up the other. Put your walking shoes on as it is a very long street but if you have nothing else to do it is a great way of putting in a day as you can just stop for... More

I recommend getting the UBahn tube to Merianplatz then walking northwards up Berger Strasse all the way up to Bornheim Mitte tube UBahn station. You will get to see all the unusual boutique shops, lovely bars. Keep an eye out for the free street library outside Merianplatz station. How trusting! A few days a week there is an open air... A must visit if you enjoy relaxed stroll along many boutiques shops and eateries without being swarmed by tourists and being rushed around. Fantastic walk especially during cool weather.

Lots of good restaurants to choose from with a few bars sprinkled in too. A couple that I liked- Ginkgo (friendly staff and tasty food) and Burrito Bande (fast and tasty burritos). There is also lots of shopping (if that's your thing). It felt like a comfortable place to roam around, eat, and enjoy Frankfurt.
