Very lively street with many restaurants, cafes. Very green in summer, the best street to have a walk in Frankfurt

A must visit if you enjoy relaxed stroll along many boutiques shops and eateries without being swarmed by tourists and being rushed around. Fantastic walk especially during cool weather.

Lots of good restaurants to choose from with a few bars sprinkled in too. A couple that I liked- Ginkgo (friendly staff and tasty food) and Burrito Bande (fast and tasty burritos). There is also lots of shopping (if that's your thing). It felt like a comfortable place to roam around, eat, and enjoy Frankfurt.

Going to Berger Straße cannot be a mistake. There are wonderful small shops and boutiques (which makes shopping a much nicer experience than in any of the Zeil stores if you know where to go), cafés and restaurants.

...of small shops, coffee houses, restaurants, pubs etc. Not a chain store in sight as this street wends its way through the neighborhoods just north of the primary tourist destinations. An ideal morning and afternoon of strolling, people-watching (the chance to encounter locals going about ordinary life, so distinct from the swarms of tourists and teens careening through and past... This street is LONG! But so pleasant to walk through. We walked both during the day and night and both times where pleasant, lots of little cafes and restaurants and shops to check out.

I saw some articles online recommending tourists to go there for food and shopping but I wasn't really satisfied with either... Yes there are quite a lot of shops and restaurants along the street but none of them looked particularly interesting. If you are from the city or only staying in Frankfurt for one or two days, I don't think... More

Plenty of restaurants, bars and shops, some of them even open on Sunday, which is quite rare in Frankfurt. I was staying in the area and there are lots of busy bars, restaurants and shops. A very nice place.

The street is very long... and along it you will find any type of restaurant from the more traditionnal to the most modern... the Apfel Wein is a must go, it is a traditional tavern with great food and the setting is authentic.

We went to this street with high hopes of spending hours here between the shopping and deciding what to eat. Once we got there we kept saying, "maybe the next section of the street it gets better", no it never got better. No great shops, not much of a selection of restaurants, but plenty of ice cream and bakeries. I... More
