Go there at the sunset and you'll get amazing pictures. They allow us to bring tripods, so you can make long exposure shots with no glass in front of you.

I went on a clear bright sunny morning. What you are paying for is the view and that's what you get. There are no frills - modernized lifts and toilets, one flight of steps to climb but no added bells and whistles (bells, statues, sculptures etc) Nothing wrong with that. But only if you really want a birds eye view... More

We love to get a panoramic views of cities we visited as this provides us with unforgettable images and also provide us with proper bearings of where we are. We were at the Main Tower in the morning of an exceptionally hot day, 35 c. The views were amazing especially of the bridges and buildings near the river. We could... More

Like going on the Empire State or Rockefeller Center, you get a beautiful, 360 view from the top. Unlike view in other cities, you don't have to pay ahead of of money or be forced thru a gift shop or photo booth to do it! Price was reasonable, we took as long as we wanted and were able to purchase... More

Pay 6.5 euro for a ride up to the top of Main Tower for a panoramic view of Frankfurt. Summer is a great time to visit as even at 7pm we had a great view with the sun still up.

If you want to see the city from the top, and don't mind paying 6,5 E, the best place. Count with a crowd in high season...

Let go of your inner cheap self, pay the few euros, and take the elevator to the 56 floor. Or was it 54th? I forget. Anyway, the view up there is awesome. Spend 10-15 minutes, snap some pics to make your relatives and friends jealous, and go out and paint the town.

Although you have to pay to get a full view of the city...I will give a mental layout of where places are located....if you decide not to take the city bus tour and do a solo tour on foot....Maximum time spend 15 mins....after that the city of Frankfurt is yours..

The Main Tower is waaaaay taller than the clock tower of the Frankfurter Dom - it makes the church look like a toy. Because you're so far up, there's a little bit of haze, which can make it a little more difficult to see out of. And you don't get the picture-perfect, postcard-style pictures of Frankfurt. The spectacle, though, is... More
