The Main Tower, in the centre of Frankfurt-am-Main's financial district, is open daily to the public. For a fee of €6-50, you're whisked up to a level of 200m above the ground with views of the Altstadt, the river Main, the airport, the surrounding hills with its windfarms and loads more. The staff in the lobby are professional, helpful and... More

We got the senior rate, so this visit to a fabulous lookout over the city of Frankfurt was well worth it. Photo-maps are posted at 4-5 spots around the lookout which label the various buildings and areas you are viewing. It was slightly hazy in the distance, but we still got fabulous views of the city. I would recommend visiting... More

Nice to go up since I had nothing else to do. Great views over the city. The view is not a view you will find in cities like Paris, New York of London, but still it is nice to orientate. Frankfurt in general is a simple city to go around.

Not much to see as Frankfurt is more of a business city than tourist city. Its a quick elevator ride up and you have a 360 view of the whole city.

We parked the car near the train station then walked to the tower, you have to go through a red light district full of strip clubs and druggies to get there from the station, not pleasent. The tower had no queue and it cost €11 for both of us with one student discount. The lift goes to near the top... More

Must visit if you are in frankfurt. For 6.5 Euros one can go up to the observatory desk which is about 200m above the ground ~60 floors and have a good view of frankfurt. Open from 10 am till 9 pm. Timings differ according to the season. Recommended to visit towards the evening so you can have the night time... More

A good visit for your first day at Frankfurt so you could take good pictures and relax the rest of the day and you locate the landmarks you want to visit when you climb down.
