A great place to visit if the weather is nice. so many colors, so many flowers! A must see. There are lots of misquotes and some areas are not taken care of.

I liked the number of greenhouses the best. The outdoor plants was too early for much flowering. Took a lot of pictures but can not seem to add them here.

The botanic garden in Frankfurt (Palmengarten) exhibits 8 different types of climates in glasshouses ranging from equatorial to desert and a very nice landscape outside with a lot of flowers and plants. Best to be seen in May - June when all the flowers are blooming.

Interesting variety of plants in different glasshouses ranging from cacti to tropical palms. Relaxing place to walk around after the bustle of the city. Even saw a red squirrel running around the garden.

There are two F & B outlets here. Siesmayer Cafe and Restaurant was very crowded when we were there on Easter Monday. But we did not like the fact that we had to take a ticket to enter as they seem to restrict the time we spend in the restaurant. We enjoyed the walk on a fresh spring afternoon but... More

This is a nice place to see a lot of different types of plants. They had tropical plants, many types of flowers, and local plants too. Additionally, there is a kids play area and a little lake where you can go on a paddle boat. It is also a nice area just to relax. If you're not into plants, it... More

We had an event at this location and the great hall befit its name. The ceiling frescos and medalions were beautiful. The food service chef was very creative unusual parings of culinary treats. But the deserts were most special.

I went a few times already and I must say, on itself, it's a nice place for a couple of hours and they have some nice exhibitions but some parts of it are not as exciting, maybe kind of boring even. The PalmenGarten hosts a few festival around the year and those can be fun.

Visited prior to 2014 and enjoyed the tremendous display of flowers in this botanical complex. My cousin used to take me there and that was one of the main reasons for wanting to go back: definitely next time.
