My mum and I were in Frankfurt for 4 days, and we decided to go to the palmengarten to relax in the 35 degree heat. The gardens had an array of colourful flowers and areas for the young children to play, and water fountains as well. there was also an art gallery, which my mum throughly enjoyed looking at. Because... More

Palmengarten Frankfurt This park offered various activities with a minimal entrance fee. There were multiple fountains, arboretums, gardens, and exhibits to walk through. There is a water park on-site where young kids played. Circling parts of the park is a mini train on tracks, but I think there is a separate fee to ride it. The park grounds were fairly... More

Unless you are really into botany or know your way around plants, these are just pretty gardens. There isn't much information about any of the plants at the garden. Please don't get me wrong; this is a beautiful, relaxing place and it has inspired me to obtain a cactus garden in my own home but I'm not sure if it... More

This is one of the best attractions in Frankfurt. It is a large garden and if you like flowers and gardens, this is the place! It is very well maintained, and has many glasshouses, a few small lakes (on one of them you can rent a pedals-boat), a small train and a waterfall. It is amazing to find such a... More

It is really understated -- lots of things to see and exceptionally well maintained There is a boating late, you can feed the ducks and fish and there are many continents under glass

A green, relaxing area in the middle of the town. A nice, different way to spend the afternoon by reading a book on a bench or wandering among flowers and trees.

This is a beautiful part of Frankfurt life and even better to visit with a good friend for a lovely walk. There is little to do except walk around the beautiful gardens in the Palmengarten, which is made better with good weather. If it is raining there is really only the greenhouses to visit and once you have seen one... More

We live close to this garden and bought a full year ticket. We love to take a walk in this garden due to the viarity of flowers and plants. Almost every week different flowers are blossoming. Also good to visit are some exhibitions - especially with light effects in winter time.
