Lovely Botanical Garden, you will need good hours to explore it properly. Impeccably maintained plants and trees etc.

You feel like on vacation. Eden garden in the middle of big city. Nice playground for kids. There are palms, little train and theatre. Fun for all.

Only 7 euros for adult entry. Lands of different gardens inside and out. Really Nice and relaxing with views of the city in the backdrop. Plenty of places to eat and drink with good prices. Can lie on the grass to and chill out.

What I was most impressed by were the nature, the baby ducklings were following their mother duck and nesting (which indicates what a good natural environment it must be for these birds to be breeding in the botanic garden). There were lots of playground space for children - train ride and the slides/swings, and open spaces. Will bring my children... More

Magnificent place to visit ..very relaxing. Not many tourists but you see many local German people. what caught my attention that everything which was planed there even at walkways was tagged. The variety of plants and flowers was incredible.

Lovely place to pass some time on a sunny day, but sadly when I went lots of houses were closed (over and above the ones already marked as 'closed' on the map). If you've seen botanical gardens in other countries/cities, this one may strike you as a little underwhelming.

A beautiful place to spend part of an afternoon. There's nothing too fancy here, but there's an amazing assortment of plants from all over the world. The rhododendron garden and surrounding English garden were particularly stunning. A great way to see some beautiful plants.

My wife and I spent a wonderful 3 hours here and could have stayed longer. There is such variety of plants on display, and the backdrop of the high rise buildings in the financial area makes for some interesting photos. It is a place I would return to in different seasons.

Germany's largest botanical garden, Frankfurt's Palmengarten is a must-see for all green-thumbers like me. Completed in 1871, Palmengarten features over 13,000 species of tropical and sub-tropical plants. Before, during or after visiting, consider dining at Cafe Siesmayer ~ one of Frankfurt's best kept culinary secrets! Featuring freshly made pastries and entrees, Cafe Siesmayer (named after Palmengarten's architect and donor) also... More
