If your into Trees/Flowers/Gardens..this is an absolute must..espec the orchid garden. Be prepared for very humid temperatures in the indoor areas but fantastic and worthwhile

This is paradise in Frankurt. A large complex of hothouses and lawns offer the chance to experience a huge variety of the world's flora. Makes one want to return, and return and return.

I visited Palmengarten with my boyfriend on early spring. We so excited to visit Palmengarten as we both are nature lover. We took U-Bahn from Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof to Bockhenheimer warte station and took a walk to the entrance from the Bockhenheimer Landstrasse. It was on Thursday so not so many people visit there, plus the temperature was still arround 5-6... More

The park includes several gardens, one of which is a Tropical one- preserved in a huge glasshouse, where you can experience the moisture and freshness of different regions, see the flora and just enjoy walking around. It's really nice there in spring and summer when everything is blossoming, amazing view also perfect place for a picnic, strand or just to... More

7euros entry for what can easily be a full days activity. Peaceful, clean, conservatories of interesting plant species, you can take a miniature train trip if your feet get tired, crazy acting ducks all over the place for entertainment, beautiful colours in spring, turtles! and my personal favourite: deck chairs to sprawl out on and work on your tan.

I liked the huge plants, and the ducks walking on the grass around me, the beadutiful flowers. Very pleasant and relaxing place. Must see in Frankfurt.

The Palmengarten is simply one of the most wonderful gardens in this "Green City" - Frankfurt has over a half of its geography set apart in dedicated green space- over 40 parks - tree lined avenues and the river banks. But this is the Frankfurt showcase garden- In late Spring it is filled with the scent of Wisteria and Lilac... More

This is a very beautiful and calm garden, there is a very nice restaurant in the garden, it is a nice place for children as well. There are a lot of different plants that are collected in one garden. I liked it.

Imagine it would be even better in June when more outdoor flowers bloom. There are many buildings so you could visit even in rainy weather. Many tropical flowers from all over the world. Playground for kids. Price of 7 Euro was very fair. There is a cafe but didn't have a chance to go in. Parking on street. Make sure... More

It is one of the largest botanic gardens in Germany. It has climatized green-houses and a variety of plants and floweres as well as beautiful fountains and ponds. The place is very scenic! There is also a lot of ducks swimming in the pond and it would be nice if you take some bread with you to feed them.
