Great day outdoors when the weather is good.We recommend you not to come on a rainy or windy day, though there are some indoor exhibitions and plants, but the best part of the visit is walking around the amazing and beautiful gardens, seeing the animals enjoying the water lakes, with or without renting a pedal boat with great scenery.Strongly recommended.

I have been here on several occasions. Sometimes for an exhibition or a light event (luminale) or just because and always enjoyed it.

Lots to see. There is a wonderful hot house and a rain forest to visit. So many plants from around the world in one place. The gardens are very well kept and there is a train ride daily from April to October. What ever time of the year it is always a delight to visit.

One of my favorite places to go in Frankfurt. A green oasis with so many things to do for the whole family. There are ever changing exhibitions and plant shows, great playgrounds for kids, concerts in summer, etc.

This is a beautiful destination, I was worried that it would be a limired experience in the winter but everything from the greenhouses to the grounds were beautiful. Must see when in Frankfurt.

The Palm Garden is a very special place in Frankfurt. Whatever the weather is, it's still fun to go through the different grow houses. In the summer it's a fantastic place to spend a day relaxing outside, having lunch, and visiting the grow houses.

The Palmengarten proved to be a special place to visit on Christmas Eve. We spent half a day wandering around the beautiful property, enjoying all the holiday decorations as well as the plants in the 14 greenhouses. On a cold wintery day, Palmengarten offered a warm spot to just enjoy all the wonderful plants.

On a recent visit to Frankfurt (primarily to visit the Christmas markets) my mum looked up some other activities to fill our time- as three solidly spent days at a market is a very long time! We decided to visit the Palmengarten as we all enjoy a wander round, looking at beautiful plants and scenery. This couldn't have been a... More

We visited the Palmengarten during the winter holidays to enjoy a bit of a walk on a very cold and snowy day. We were surprised at how large the property is inside the gardens, and the well laid out walking paths. The snow added to the beauty of the gardens, though I would love to go back when the outdoor... Palmengarten is amazing. There are hundreds of species and some spectacular simulated environments. Very nice place for a calm walk, families and couples. There is also a pretty lake with ducks, swans and paddle boats. Fantastic for photographers (professionals and amateurs). Free entrance as well.
