MK1 doesn't look that interesting from the outside, but inside it's really great, with the building constructed in a way which means you can get glimpses up and down and across to various works of art. The temporary exhibitions on this visit were not particularly to our taste, but the hang of work from the collection was impressive. This will... More

Spent a nice 40 minutes in this museum for €12. The building itself is quite spectacular and at times I was more impressed with this than the exhibits. There is a small Warhol/Lichtenstein exhibition, and a few other interesting pieces. We then crossed to mK3 only to find it is one large room. Spent most of our time their discussing... More

I happened to visit here when I was killing time before my bus leaves. Loved the interior architecture and the exhibition was really interesting too. There were lots to see and I really enjoyed my time there.

Modern art is very unique and does not appeal to everyone, but sometimes it can pleasantly surprise. I visited the museum during a special exhibition of works by Subodh Gupta and it was a great experience. There will also treat for fans of Andy Warhol.

The building is in the shape of a slice of cake -- it literally comes to a point on one end. The art inside was hit or miss (for me). Some of it was very interesting and some was ... well, just out there. Worth the price of admission, but we were watched like hawks while we inside which made... More

We had a really nice time in this lovely museum. We were fortunate enough to visit it during "The Divine Comedy" exhibition, that was weird, odd, strange, surreal and stunning at the same time. Tickets was 12 Euros, reduced to 6 Euros, thanks to the wonderful Frankfurt Card. Give yourself 60-90 minutes to fully enjoy the museum.

This is really a nice and perfect building for a modern art museum. They have really good instalations and paintings, the only thing that is missing is a little more information about the art work, but in general is a pretty nice museum if you are into modern art. The last saturday of every month there is no entrance fee.

This is a small museum, well designed by Hans Hollein who knew how to combine the different parts of the building with it's exhibitions to a whole one big game. There are parts in the building where you get influence from the outside (light, shapes, dark glass panels) or you see an inside exhibition with the local buildings outside as... More

The building design is quite interesting. When I visited there was one special exhibit for the entire building. Nothing from the current exhibit was showing. As for the special exhibit, The Devine Comedy, not worth the 12 euro admission fee.
