A wonderful art museum that I has never visited before. So many works that I had only ever seen in books. It was thrilling to see them in real life. A magnificent gallery! More

More than half of the museum was closed due to new exhibition works so the tickets were cheaper. We thought there are some minor works since the museum is open as usual, but we were wrong. It would be much more fair to close the musem if there's only 20% of the building available to see. There was not much... More

Aftter finding the Stadel permanent collection closed, I was disappointed - the main reason I decided to stop off in Frankfurt - so headed to the Museum of Modern Art thinking that I should rather have just flown straight back to Melbounre, however the collection is a delight - really interesting architecture. 3 David Reed paintings which were a real... We didn't have that much time and I'm sure we missed some. I would definitely go back. Well worth a a visit. We went on the last Saturday... More

There's three floors with exhibition. In the top floor they have wonderful works by famous artists like Warhol and Lichtenstein. The variation in the collection is big, some of it we liked and some of it we didn't really understand - but that is beauty of a modern contemporary museum as I see it. You really should experience it if... More

It was just luck that the current work being shown was excellent. But the actual building it's self is certainly worth a visit. More

The Museum für Moderne Kunst in Frankfurt houses one of the most extensive and best collections of modern and contemporary art in Germany. Because they have so many different works in their storage, they change their shows quite often. Apart from the ubiquitous Beuys and Warhol they have a really broad range of high quality works including photography. More
