The building design is quite interesting. When I visited there was one special exhibit for the entire building. Nothing from the current exhibit was showing. As for the special exhibit, The Devine Comedy, not worth the 12 euro admission fee.

Modern art is really about personal choice. Some of it I got and some I most certainly didn't. A pleasant ramble about the place and not too busy. I am not going to tell what a saw but will leave that to you. Not worth the full entrance fee mind you so get a travel card with half price reduction... More

Excellent presentation of works by african artists revisiting Dante's Divine Comedy in an interesting and stimulating space in the centre of Frankfurt.

the museum is small but with very interesting modern art. Worth to spend an hour under cold weather!

There's not much in this museum, so it didn't take too long to walk through it. I'm glad I didn't have to pay to get in.

Strange museum, with strange exposes. Maybe its because I don't understand the modern art, but I wasn't the only confused person in this place.

I thought this museum was awful. There wasn't a single piece of art I wanted to see. Overall, the quality of museums in Frankfurt was less than I expected and certainly worse than Berlin or Munich - no real comparison- but is one was the worst. The fish place across the street was good for lunch though!

I have been to quite a few art and modern art galleries. I would say that the Museum of Modern Art in Frankfurt is about average. Like most modern galleries, there really aren't that many exhibits and you can do the place in an hour or so. Some of the art bored me, some was quite whimsical and some was... More

From the building to the exhibits this was a great art experience. Not a lot of english but not really necessary. Photography was allowed too. We have not stopped talking about the Franz West exhibit and the other permanent installations we found.

The museum exhibition is quite interesting because both the pernament collection and a contemporary exhibition are well arranged and contain a variety of art objects. Apart from paintings and sculptures I saw though-provoking and interactive installations, which were quite amusing. However, the most interesting museum pieces are Andy Warhol's paintings. Unfortunatelly the museum itself is rather small. After 90 minutes... More
