but a little bit aged recently. So, don't expect high-tech, but if you are looking for a classical natural history museum with lots of exhibits (including one the largest collection of dinosaur bones in Europe), the Senckenberg might be your thing to see. NB: Except for Wednesdays, on weekdays the museum closes at 5pm which is quite early!

This museum is a must-do when you're in Frankfurt. Unfortunately, due to a big conference, I only got to see a part of the museum (the bigger part, though), and it was really interesting. Dinosaur skelletons, all kinds of stuffed animals, from birds to mouses to lizards, all natures animals are presented. For more info and explanation on several objects,... More

I went here with two children and they both enjoyed it very much. They have very nice collections of animals, minerals, and sketela of dinosaurs. I would say that this is a great visit for anybody more than 8 years old.

Lovely buzz about the place, but excellent space in which to enjoy exhibits. Dinosaurs a big hit and the minerals and gems display on the lower floor are really worth a look.

If you are a teacher or interested in Biology, its worth going there, especially when you have kids. You can see a lot of birds, all types of animals from all over the world. It takes at least a half day to go through in detail. Go there by tube, because Parking in the area is difficult.

Unbelievably comprehensive collection. Our 4 year old son was mesmerised by the dinosaurs. Could easily spend numerous hours here even with small children. It is immaculate and well laid out with amazing series of rooms.

Big fun for the whole family!!! The museum is wonderful! Good exposition, interesting presentation. You can spend there two or three hours having fun. Very interesting! Kids and adults can see a lot. Good idea to visit it when it is raining and you don`t know what to do in the city. I really liked this place! In the museum... More

I've enjoyed going here on more than one occasion and even the few times I have gone here for something I wasn't particularly interested in seeing I've left having learned something new and exciting.
