I recently arranged for Jo to meet my mother in Frankfurt for a layover adventure. She hasn't traveled by herself so I was concerned about dealing with Frankfurt airport and getting to downtown. Very easy to work out the details, very accommodating with special requests, and delivered a great experience tailored to her interests. Used to meet and greet at... More

We booked ahead wth Jo for a walk tour for us and our two children. It was for the morning the day before we left for home after a two week road trip in Germany, Austria and Poland. Jo met us at our hotel and was very patient. We only did a two hour tour because we were all tired... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our five-hour walk around Frankfurt on New Years Eve with Dave and a dozen strangers from all parts of the world . Dave welcomes every guest by asking a few get-to-know-you questions as you join the group. It quickly breaks the ice and starts the fun. Dave has a real passion for history, story-telling, reading, classic-rock music... More

I did a walk 5 years ago with Dave and was massively impressed so it was natural that I would do this again with my family on this visit. Our guide this time was Sam and although his tour/focus was different to Dave it was every bit as captivating. We had a good size group but the weather was very... More

When I received an email from Jo barely 24 hours before my trip informing me of expected snow, I was pleasantly surprised. Not only was she ensuring I was physically prepared for the trip, but I suspect she was also ensuring I was psychologically prepared, for traipsing around a city for 4 hours in sleet and snow is no cake... Met on time to find a zainy American (Dave) awaiting to guide us around Frankfurt. Interesting points made and a wonderful dry sarcastic humorous tone added laughter to the tour. Dave managed to include all our home countries and sometimes city into the mix, felt like a good grasp of history was gained without the textbook headache. Cheers Dave

We came to Frankfurt only as a stopover before heading to Berlin and didn't know much about what was here. Our tour guide was Sam and his knowledge on everything from the history, architecture and the tiny details you would never notice unless told was amazing. This city is truly beautiful and this tour helped us understand it better.

Our schedule didn't permit us another day to take this tour. It was great but on Sunday there are a number of attractions closed and because of the Xmas markets not everything was visible. Apart from those 2 items the guide was excellent and knew his stuff. It was a good mix of history, amusing anecdotes and a sense of... More
