Be prepared to be constantly asked if you want to take a boat ride but no one is upset if you say no. If the weather is nice then worth taking the trip. Great harbour views and of the beautiful villas in Blankenese. Worth doing a combi to the with the old storage buildings for landed cargo. Beautiful in summer... More

A great way to see Hamburg City & Harbour from the Elbe is to use the HADAG number 62 ferry, there are ferries every 15 minutes. Although there is no commentary you do have the option of getting on and off at each stop. We travelled from Landungsbrücken (Brücke 3) to Dockland (Fischereihafen). At Landungsbrücken there are many landing stages,... More

Good place to start the sight-seeing tour of Hamburgs Harbour, St. Pauli and the Portuguese area. We loved it as we could do everything from here. Worth visiting the 20 Up bar in the Riverside Hotel

This is a must see. Even just to window shop in Rolex. Very busy street and lots of things to see and walk around. Great atmosphere for a wander.

I suggest this area to take a walk insofar has a lot of things to admire. During a walk you can see the harbor, the huge ships and other nice spots. I went in Hamburg on January and the weather was awful ( snow and minus 2 degrees) but the walk was still enjoyable.

We ate at one of the restaurants at night and returned the next day. It was much busier through the day but with a great atmosphere and lots of restaurants.

Oh,Happy day`s. I stand here in the Landungsbrucke and listen to the myriad of tongues spoken here; See the throng of People from all corners of the World trying to Board the Harbour Pleasure Cruises and suddenly realised I am an Old Man in a Modern Day melee.

I enjoyed this ride/cruise on the Elbe starting from the landings/piers at the harbour. It was a large boat with an open deck on top and there were many seatings and chairs.Below there is an enclosed area where most mothers with very little children can take shelter from the cold wind and stay comfortable. On the open deck one gets to see... Exiting the U-Bahn station, I was met with the beautiful view of multiple boats cruising the Elbe. The wind was blowing, and I walked around the piers. I really enjoyed it.
