A nice place to just stroll around and visit the canals and harbour area. The miniature museum is around here also and I would not recommend going unless you have kids. Fantastic old buildings, you can literally smell the spices. Nice to walk around. A couple of good museums are located here.

Interesting for shopping and cafe life. A bit like Canary Wharf in London. They say Hamburg has more bridges than Venice.

These buildings are still there as they have been built 130 years ago and the atmosphere can still me caught !! Try to catch one of the touristic boat tours and see the stunning buildings from the sea side. Dont forget to safe 3 hours minimum for the maritime museum . its a must !

Very interesting for history lovers and general public to see and have a bit of first hand feeling how it all looked like back in old days. I don't know to which extend it was renovated or rebuilt, but it is impressive part of Hamburg to visit.

Range of facilities - not least the astonishing Miniatur Wunderland; eateries, bars, walks, canals/bridges, with good U-bahn links.

I didn´t know what to expect when walking to the warehouse district but the brownstone buildings and small walking/cobbled streets are really beautiful. It gives sense of a different time. Many attractions in Hamburg are found in this area as well as some gem restauraunts.
