The best way to really appreciate the buildings and surrounding waterways is on a boat trip around the area, There are also many places of interest to visit in this quarter... More

Don't just look but also use your nose: the warehouses still are being uses to store tobacco, coffee, tea ans spices... More

I read about this warehouse district in my travel guide. And indeed it is reallt worth to visit. The buildings are still in quite original state and tell the story of the old trading days of this port city. I loved it

With a good tour guide your harbor cruise will be filled with much history and numerous, top-notch photo ops. See huge container ships up close. Statues here and there. A lock. Old, brick warehouses now transformed.
