Excellent. Obviously in German but whole spectacle was worth if you understand no German language. It's great

It was my birthday present in 2012 or so. I was too impressed. Perfect costumes, dancing, singing. Everything ist excellent. You can go there by boat ( its a transfer). We went there two hours earlier cause we had a special ticket that included snacks before performance. All in all we were the whole day there. Its the best show... More

Of course, it helps to be familiar with the story if you don't know German. The acting and singing is excellent and still makes you laugh. Ferry to the theater (on an island) is included in the ticket price. Logistically traveling to and from the theater went quickly and smoothly.

We enjoyed the costumes and the decoration, but were quite disappointed about the voices, who were only mediocre, one of the worst sung musicals we ever heard.

Quitea tired performance. Maybe we were expecting too much, but the singing was sub-par, and the acting not great either. Nala and Rafiki were good, and the second half better than the first, but overall it didn't live up to the billing.

The theater houses Der Koenig der Loewen was built on the far side of the river Elbe. A boat ride over to the other side is part of the entrance ticket. What a great beginning! The show itself is excellent. I have never seen anything better. Presentation, costumes, singing voices, acting, story - I was blown away, even though I... More

We were expecting a brilliant evening. The Location is fantastic, arriving in a boot. Service And seating were as good as expected. Unluckily the performance was missing something. The masks, costumes etc. were incredible but the music just seemed a bit tired. Pity. Been Running too Long?

My little brother and I had as a Christmas present received an invitation from my aunt to watch The Lion King. So about a week ago our entire family, mom, dad, cousin etc., (my little brother the youngest with 10, and my Grandmother the oldest with 76 years) got together in Hamburg and Saturday we watched the play. To get... More
