My first visit to a planetarium and I loved it! Great show :) The only problem I found was that the seats at the back don't recline - meaning after and hour of looking up I had neck ache!
The planetarium is Easy to get to. Just a short walk through the park from the metro. Staff were helpful and friendly, had quite a giggle with a few of them! We see a show about Darwins adventures. Although it was good we would have preferred a star laser show, but that's our fault for not checking the schedule. Only... More
We were so excited to go to this Planetarium, and then this! We're due to traffic 2 mins late and after we arrived the doors were even openend - but they didn't let us students in. No talking, no Money back, no sorry NOTHING. After a complaint at the secretary AND the Boss, no Response.. I'm sorry for this bad... More

These shows are art videos, not traditional, informative planetarium films. We enjoyed the shows, it was an interesting experience. Perhaps not for first time visitors in Hamburg if they are... More
Went here with my class from school and saw the main planetarium show about stars and stuffs. Im pretty sure you gotta pay the entrance fee for the show. I have been an avid amateur astronomer for years and I loved this experience. The facility is superb, and the content was authoritative and interesting. If you like science and enjoy a visual, aural and kinaesthetic (yes, I felt like I was flying sometimes) experience, then this is for you. Very affordable, and wonderful.
Able to get an English translation during the show we saw which was very interesting and lasted about an hour. Different shows are available at different times on different days. Make sure you pick the one you want in advance. Bit disappointed that there wasn't more of a museum or exhibition to see.
