Since we do not have a Planetarium in Oslo, a visit to The one in Hamburg is always on the schedule if possible. I think Germans are very service-minded (compared to Norwegians). The people at the Panetarium were very helpful as I forgot to bring our booking which we bought three weeks ahead. The seats very comfortable, but it was very... More

This Planetarium offers the most modern technique with light & sound you can get. The offer of shows is vast and suitable for every age group. In January I saw a "Voyage Abstrait" with French DJ Raphael Marionneau playing music from his own electronic music label. The first part was very chilled out, the second part of the show was... I have visited the Planetarium with my 5 yo son, we came to watch a show for 4 yo plus, immediately after with totally mutual agreement we got the show for 6 yo plus, the latter was a little difficult since German is the third language for my son. The first show was just unbelievable great for kids, interactive, educative,... More

We went to a show that was combined with classic rock music (Queen, AC:DC etc), the seats tilt back the ceiling takes up nearly your entire vision. It's difficult to describe but the lights and lasers make you feel like you're on a roller coaster through space, its pretty trippy and I had to look away a couple times to... More

you definitely must go there! I've been three times, and if I ever return to Hamburg, I'll revisit it; both suited for adults and children and the park is amazing; the area is quite far from the city center and I remember a 10-15min walk from the metro station

I recommend a show "Deep space dance 2. It is a fascinating combination of music and space view. The stars movement makes you feel floating in the space, just incredible! Though the second part of the show is rather makes you feel in a disco with loud music and laser light show. The show is still worth to see.

Located in beautiful park land that you wander around in and bask in the sun for a good hour or so, watched the journey of the stars which was beautiful and educating and available in multiple languages!! Well worth a relaxing visit. Make sure you go to the top and see the spectacular 360 view of Hamburg!!

The planetarium is compact and crowns the verdant stadt park, but it's observation terrace offers a splendid birds' eye view of the city, including the port, in a single sweep. Definitely worth a short climb up. Monisha Pinto JP Number 100243931

We went to see the Dark Side of the Moon show, and despite about four false starts due to technical problems it was still an enjoyable evening. The bar in the lobby was a nice and unexpected touch, we would have arrived earlier for a more leisurely drink if we had known! I'd recommend getting there before sun set to... More

We changed out mind - but not possible to return tickets for a show which was 2 hours later. We decided to come back waiting in the lobby for the show they didn't announce it and closed the doors with no notice. Furious Germans had to fight with a non service minded crew. Eventually they returned out money which they... More
