Located in beautiful park land that you wander around in and bask in the sun for a good hour or so, watched the journey of the stars which was beautiful and educating and available in multiple languages!! Well worth a relaxing visit. Make sure you go to the top and see the spectacular 360 view of Hamburg!!

The planetarium is compact and crowns the verdant stadt park, but it's observation terrace offers a splendid birds' eye view of the city, including the port, in a single sweep. Definitely worth a short climb up. Monisha Pinto JP Number 100243931

We went to see the Dark Side of the Moon show, and despite about four false starts due to technical problems it was still an enjoyable evening. The bar in the lobby was a nice and unexpected touch, we would have arrived earlier for a more leisurely drink if we had known! I'd recommend getting there before sun set to... More

We changed out mind - but not possible to return tickets for a show which was 2 hours later. We decided to come back waiting in the lobby for the show they didn't announce it and closed the doors with no notice. Furious Germans had to fight with a non service minded crew. Eventually they returned out money which they... More

My first visit to a planetarium and I loved it! Great show :) The only problem I found was that the seats at the back don't recline - meaning after and hour of looking up I had neck ache!

Was very excited to see the Queen show but ended up rather disappointed as the laser show is not very modern. Enjoyed the show but won't see it again.

The planetarium is Easy to get to. Just a short walk through the park from the metro. Staff were helpful and friendly, had quite a giggle with a few of them! We see a show about Darwins adventures. Although it was good we would have preferred a star laser show, but that's our fault for not checking the schedule. Only... More

We went to see the shows Voices in the Dark and Jean Michel Jarre's Aero, because some in the group I was travelling with could not understand German very well. These shows are art videos, not traditional, informative planetarium films. We enjoyed the shows, it was an interesting experience. Perhaps not for first time visitors in Hamburg if they are... The show was awesome but the one I saw was in German. I dont know if they have one in English. They were basically telling us about planets, stars and stuffs.... More
