Because the lonely planet said it's free, we couldn't get in because we didn't bring money and it's NOT FREE! But we walked all around and it's an amazing and beautiful building. The private villa next door is a fantastic sight too. Makes one jealous ;-)

The Belvedere is a great place to visit with nice views of the lakes and forest around Potsdam and southwest Berlin. (uploaded a photo) The Belvedere was part of a wonderful day of bicycling around the Wannsee, through the forest, and out to Potsdam, including the Belvedere, Schloss Cecilienhof and the Sans Souci Park. The trails are wonderful, you can... More

If your travel to Berlin just plan a day to visit Potsdam. This little castle is one of the highlights there. Enjoy.
