After wondering through the park from the Sanssouci Palace we came upon The Orangerie. They stated you have to take a guided tour so we had to wait a little while. The tour started by putting these big slippers over our shoes so as not to scratch the marble floors. They gave us a card with an English explanation of... More

There is no audioguide for this, you must go on tour in done in German. German speakers were clearly getting a lot more info than on the placard we got. Mostly underwhelming compared to Sanssoucci and the New Chambers, so I would not recommend this if you are short on time (we did not get to see the New Palace... More

This was very interesting. We were in a small group of 8 with 4 speaking English and 4 speaking German. The tour guide would answer our questions in English, but conducted the tour in German. When we got our timed ticket, the cashier said it was up to the guide. We still enjoyed the Orangerie and it shouldn't be missed.... More

On our way to Sanssouci park from Neues Palais, we dropped by Orangerie. It is such a quiet place where we did not see a lot of tourists there. We did not enter into the palace but it is good to take a photo outside. Overall atmosphere is calm and I love this place.

This palace was for visitors and is beautiful. You have to wear slippers over your shoes to protect the floors which is oddly fun. The palace is gorgeous and the gardens in front are beautiful.

When I got here after getting lost around the Park Sansoucci I thought this was the best and biggest palace of all Sansoucci Park, but it is not. Anyway I loved this place l, and for me it os one the places you have to visit in Potsdam if you want to feel special. There is some kind of magic... More

There is no audio guide in English , the only option is to take a page with brief explanations in English. there is a tour with a guide who speaks and explains only in german but if anyone has a question in english she will answer. The place itself is not big but there are good things and some stunning... More

As the flowers were becoming to bloom it already looked nice. It could be a part of your walking (!) tour through the park. We had a rest and stayed for a while. The quietness, the space. Nice

We both agreed that we would visit the Orangerie over Sanssoucci. The crowds were smaller, the rooms were more interesting, and the grounds were amazing. We highly recommend this palace. One of the rooms is dedicated to Raphael reproductions from the late 19th century. You have to wear shoe covers over your feet because the floors are original to the... More

What an incredible place! As a whole, the Orangerie Palace is ingeniously laid out: a combination of greenhouse, apartments for visiting king and Queen, painting gallery, and observation deck! Though you can't tour the greenhouse (the plants are mostly outside anyway, in the warmer months) it still adds a great deal of charm and accessibility to the palace. The visiting... More
