It was a nightmare to find a decent restaurant. Most of the restaurants are full with students and cheap. Food is low quality. The city itself is amazingly nice, but not worth more than a day

Despite the gray, drizzly day my husband and I both enjoyed the walking tour of Potsdam. Our guide, Matti, spoke English very well. His commentary was interesting, detailed, and provided "insider" knowledge that only a student of history would know--which he did, as he studied at the university located in Potsdam. I was originally hesitant to commit 6 hrs. to... More

We took the train from Berlin to Potsdam and upon arrival outside the station we were asked if we would like to go on a the tour and we agreed, my father thou was not feeling 100% and we have to compliment the young gentleman who helped us out and was very helpful, we really appreciated all he did for... We have taken many hop-on-hop-off tours in many cities, but this one is one of the best. The commentary is recorded and takes the route of a discussion between two people. This maintains the interest level and you feel as if you are part of a discussion. Well worthwhile!

We took the train from Berlin to Potsdam, included in the Berlin 5 day Welcome Card. Once you have reached Potsdam it is best to take immediately the Hop on Hop Off Buses from the train station. It gets crowded from other points. It costs about Euros 50 for 2 adults and 2 teens. Hassle free and enjoyable ride. The... More

We were lured into joining this city tour of potsdam being promised all sorts of things....don't do it, it's a waste of money and to top it all off our audio wasn't working. We tried for several minutes until finally a girl came and couldn't fix it. So we had to go doenstairs and it worked there but the views... More

It was a good sunny weather when we visited the very historic and old city near Berlin Germany. Potsdam city is more than one thousand years old and is famous for its beautiful architecture. The entire city is very clean and beautiful. Tour guide could explain the history of the city palaces nicely. It takes around 3 hours for the... More

We took the tour from the train station and stayed on until it finished full circle getting off at a little market street which was lovely. We saw the Kaiser summer residences, the KGB offices, the bridge where they swapped spies and it was very interesting. It was well worth seeing.

We began our adventure at Zoologischer Garten station where we were met by the very friendly and approachable Caroline (from Germany - excellent English speaker and a great sense of humour). She made sure we all made it on and off the correct train and bus which was impressive as there were 20 of us on the tour! Once in... More

We took the 2-hour tour around Potsdam. The city and the palaces as well as the old town are worth a visit, but this tour was a disappointment. The guide bellowed only in German despite the promise in the brochure as well as at the ticket counter that it would be live commentary also in English. The recorded guide-talk was... More
