We have been there and came to realise that we totally underestimated this place. Walking through it and enjoying the environment, we made a stop at the café and felt like on a wellness vacation. It is very informative and I enjoyed this unusual place a lot. I can totally recommend it for families, tourists and locals. Hint: Take the... More

We travelled from England and although a lot was in German like the welcome video introduction we didn't mind as we were in Germany after all! The biosphere itself was great, very pretty and the animals were really well looked after with huge living environments. However we decided to eat in the cafe and sat down at one of the... More

For those of you who have heard of, or visited the Eden project in Cornwall this is a mini version. After paying you are given a scroll with a piece of dried orange, cinnamon and star anise attached. I thought it might be certificate thanking me for contributing to saving the planet but it is a drink recipe. After walking... More

Thank you for submitting us a review. Sorry to hear that you didn’t like our mystical tropical world. The Biosphere Potsdam covers a total area of 7000 square meters. There is nothing comparable in the area of Berlin/Brandenburg. The recipe that you got after paying is part of our advent calendar - until December 24, every visitor receives a little... More

Plenty of fish, lizards, birds, butterflies and more. There are plenty of interactive points for children and teens, the geyser was a highlight. Very well laid out as you move upwards through the jungle.

you wll have a very good time inside this jungle with your kid. It is like walking inside a wildlife. They have placed a lot of interesting stations to learn more about the different landscapes. I have read they have over 20.000 beautiful plants, many exotic animals and they are creating an hourly thunderstorm with lightning and thunder :-0! Abd... More

This is interesting point of my visit in Postdam. You can arrive here by tram (tram stop is located close to the main gate) or by foot from the center of Postdam (aprox. 30 minutes of walk through Alexandrowka district). This is generally a botanic garden with many foregin plants and animals. In biosphare you can enter to the world... More

Went here with my family on a rainy day and didn't expect much more than a greenhouse. We all thought this was a very good place and it is all indoors, so perfect if the weather is bad. Yes, the signs are all in German, but that is not too bad as there are so many things to look at... More

This is perfect for any weather except the height of summer, as it offers perfect warmth and an adventure! They have changing exhibitions, too, so never gets boring. At the moment they have a dinosaur exhibition. It is generally a tour (with little kid-friendly quizzes along the way, all in German though) through a huge atrium with tropical plants and... More

After days only raining in Berlin, we decided to visit Biosphäre in Potsdam. It was easy to reach with the train from Berlin, and when you have the Berlin Welcome Card ABC it is included. We were lucky at the time of visiting there were 'Dinosaurs Fever'. My two boys (7 and 3) were really excited! The ticket costs the... More
