we were told by the tourist information office at the station that this was the only tour available and that it would be suitable for English language. The English language passengers were shoved in seats facing inwards at the back of the top, and given headphones. I tried 4 pairs before giving up. The verbal commentary from the guide was... More

We were talked into doing this tour as soon as we got off the train at Potsdam and paid 30 Euros. We were assured that there would be live English commentary, as well as German. The reality was that there was NO English commentary by the guide and the headphones (which were used and dirty) had strongly accented English commentary... More

We visited Potsdam for only a day. This is a tour designed to give you an overview of the city of Potsdam. It makes three stops- at the Neues Palais, Schloss Sanssouci, and Schloss Cecilienhof where you can get out and see (but not go in) to the palace locations. As other reviewers have stated, the prime language (live) is... More

Tour was 90% for Germans. was told it was English and German. Had headphones while in driving mode and most od the time it just played music. The Germans received a full live commentary. We stopped three places and she would first talk in German and then in English. She was very hard to understand and didn't know English well... More

We thought of visiting Potsdam on a 2.5 hr tour on the old-style buses. Took a Kaiser Tour" and it was the worst decision ever. We asked for an English tour at the Tourists' Information office and was directed to the Kaiser Tour with a guide, which stops at 3 places. That sounded just fine but: 1. Once we got... More

Decided to go on a sightseeing tour of Potsdam from our normal holiday in Berlin. It cost €36 for 2 adults, which would have been worth it had the tour been to an acceptable standard! From the moment we arrived on the bus, the driver who seated us was very rude and wasn't very welcoming. He was very stern and... More

very disappointed that the tour guide didn't try to give us 8 guests a solution at the onset of the tour, just expected us to listen to 2 hours of german. they returned us some money and expected us to get public bus back to the station after some arguments at the first stop.

On booking this tour we confirmed the requirement for live English commentary. When we arrived at the designated time we were moved from bus to bus and finally told that English commentary is on headphones only. The head phones had dirty foam pads so we were forced to use headphones from previous tour of Berlin. Even so the quality of... More

Diabolical!!! Do not go on this tour if you are English. It is advertised as in English and German with headphone commentary BUT what you get is English commentary through headphones but live German commentary which drowns out the English. On our trip all the Germans were seated at the front of the bus upstairs but the person giving the... More

We tried to look for the tourist info at the station to get a hop on hop off tour, and had a lady on the concourse (with a tourist info badge) bundle us onto this tour....what a sham! It is advertised as in English and German, but what you have is a recorded English version on the bus, whilst the... More
