A great display for children But put your walking shoes on as it just takes around loopy loop without much out halfway through. The signage is not the best for trying to get out and when it is crowded the displays tended to be in very small areas and so there is no way you can listen to anything. Most... More

We visited the Klimahaus in late December so it was quite busy. However, the tour is well organized and they launch small separated groups every 5 minutes. Don't forget to buy the travel book for children (1 Euro). The kids can collect stamps at every destination and solve some challenging riddles. The tour takes you to and through 8 destinations... My children (middle school) enjoyed our journey around 8 degrees of longitude. There were plenty of interactive exhibits in the different "cities/villages". Due to time constraints, we were here for only 3 1/2 hours, but we could have spent another two hours or so there. We left the "other exhibits" for last and then didn't have time for them.

Despite all the rave reviews I found this experience a bit weird. It must be the only big public museum in this part of the world where English is lacking, a bit of a worry when claustrophobia sets in and you can't find the way out. The mini jungle is all plastic plants!, a few poor marsupials in a cage,... More

This is a highly interactive exhibition with 'visits' to Switzerland, Sardinia and onwards through the Sahara along the 8th degree of latitude. You could spend 4-5 hours here and our two was sadly not enough. It is located in a shopping centre with car park underneath right by the harbour in Bremerhaven so ideal for a day's activities.

I don't think there's anything like this anywhere else in the world. You get to tour through climates from all over the world and learn what makes them as they are - using the stories of local people. This is truly an amazing place - could have spent much more time.

Interesting way to learn about nature for all ages. There is a mini jungle and also rain forest. In the mini jungle there are real fishes and animals, it took a lot of time, for me it was 5 hours but it was worth the money.

This is an intriguing and interactive experience. Visitors will be able to take a "journey" in which they visit a number of different countries in different climate zones located on the same degree of longitude.be prepared for the heat of the Sahara, the cold of the Arctic and the humidity of Samoa. Each stop present different environmental and social issues... More

Klimahaus claims you learn about our climate. Well, if that is so you have to come from very, very far behind. You walk through some regions which you may find on 9° East around the globe. In Switzerland and Germany scenery is nice, at the pole its cool, in Samoa its warm and in the desert dry........ Come on spend... More
