Been to the klimahaus today. Good attraction for a cold December day! You embark on a journey around the world, experiencing climates, landscapes and cultures of around eight countries. Niger and Cameroon were particular favourites, great to warm up! The rope bridge was pretty cool. It is a relaxing experience, good photo opportunities too. The fish were cool!

Its such a wonderful place where humans bond with nature! An ideal place to learn about how we need to be morally and ethically responsible to the changing environment.

From the outside an amazing looking building....inside a major disappointment. Many of the exhibits were closed or not working and those that were were uninteresting. Possibly good for a school trip but for adults rather simplistic.

An excellent attraction, around the world on 8 degrees east and back via the Antarctica, Somao and Alaska. So much to see and experience, but the trip around the world to all the climate zones is just the start, Perspectives and the Opportunities sections are not to be missed. Best visited when school tours are not there and be sure... More

Great if you are 12 years old otherwise boring static displays and HOT HOT HOT. Queues of people and claustrophobic, badly signed and altogether a terrible experience. Not for the old or with disabilities even though there are lifts. Once you are in the 'travel journey' you are trapped and cannot get out til the end which seems like forever.... More

We were expecting to be impressed as this place has been recommended to us by so many people but it surpassed our expectations. We have been to the Eden Project in Cornwall but this is something else again. The Klimahaus takes the visitor down the longitude 8° which is where Bremerhaven lies through various countries until one arrives back in... More

I loved the Klimahaus, it was not what I was expecting at all, It was fun and very interesting, I enjoyed going through all the differnent Climates and it made me feel as though I was in all these different countries. If Given the chance I would go back, and spend more time in each destination, But I still loved... More

As a travel journalist, I have visited numerous ‘attractions’ but rarely ones that deserve to be labelled as a “must see” - but The Journey Along 8deg East 34min at the Klimahaus in Bremerhaven, Germany, is an “absolute must see”. Poetically, and accurately, described by Bob Geldof as “a love letter to our planet”, the Klimahouse presents a tour around... More

This is a really imaginative way of learning geography! The building itself is stunning and the interactive exhibitions were really well thought out. We all loved it but I won't spoil the surprises by giving away to much. It's a multi-sensual experience that should not be missed - go there and explore!
