Great if you are 12 years old otherwise boring static displays and HOT HOT HOT. Queues of people and claustrophobic, badly signed and altogether a terrible experience. Not for the old or with disabilities even though there are lifts. Once you are in the 'travel journey' you are trapped and cannot get out til the end which seems like forever.... More

We were expecting to be impressed as this place has been recommended to us by so many people but it surpassed our expectations. We have been to the Eden Project in Cornwall but this is something else again. The Klimahaus takes the visitor down the longitude 8° which is where Bremerhaven lies through various countries until one arrives back in... More

I loved the Klimahaus, it was not what I was expecting at all, It was fun and very interesting, I enjoyed going through all the differnent Climates and it made me feel as though I was in all these different countries. If Given the chance I would go back, and spend more time in each destination, But I still loved... More

As a travel journalist, I have visited numerous ‘attractions’ but rarely ones that deserve to be labelled as a “must see” - but The Journey Along 8deg East 34min at the Klimahaus in Bremerhaven, Germany, is an “absolute must see”. Poetically, and accurately, described by Bob Geldof as “a love letter to our planet”, the Klimahouse presents a tour around... More

This is a really imaginative way of learning geography! The building itself is stunning and the interactive exhibitions were really well thought out. We all loved it but I won't spoil the surprises by giving away to much. It's a multi-sensual experience that should not be missed - go there and explore!

Outstanding museum. Please consider to bring time with you. Our visit took about 5 hours with a few breaks and we skipped Germany at the end.

The Klimahaus is pretty cool. I really had no idea what to expect when going in, except that the friend we were visiting liked it. It takes you on a trip through a line of longitude starting in Bremerhaven and going around the globe. The individual country sections are very different and unique, and they even replicate things like humidity,... More

I loved the Klimhaus museum but there was so much to do and see, I kind of reached overload by the end of it and that was just the journey part rather than the other sections of the place. It was very cool, more than just a museum where you looked at the information, each part of the trip was... More

Shows climate in different parts of the world. You can feel coldness and emptiness of the Antarctica, hot and wet jungle, dry desert. You can see how people live on Alaska or Samoa. Young kids were a bit bored though.

I expected more from this place. The outside architecture was nice but the inside was not exactly educational. They mixed art with education. That created boredom. Instead I would like to have seen simplified straight forward facts. And ifind it hypocritical to build a giant building and display environmental topics that could have been placed in a smaller building. Not... More
