Went in randomly and didn't regret it!

I was in Bremerhaven for the day whilst waiting for a friend to finish work, when I came across this place as I crossed the bridge from the Colombo centre. I had no idea what it... read more

Again this is one of those places that want to show something interesting to people who are not really interested. First of all, the idea of a Klima Haus is great, but then who is really interested in climate ? There is a world of interesting things to find in this house, but after about one hour I was just... Thus museum is so well made in details and so many things done innovatively. There are so many sections and how each part of world climate is being maintained here. Very educational experience with detailed study about different terrains. A must see.

If I could describe a few exhibits: 1. "This is what humidity feels like." 2. "This is what freezing cold feels like." 3. "This is a sculpture of a whale that you might find in a wet climate, which OH, by the way, this is what rain feels like." I'd say this museum is geared more toward a young (less... More

Had a great time "going around the world on a particular longitude" and experiencing the physical conditions, practices and traditions of diverse countries and cultures! Had a great time!

This really is worth visiting, but make sure you have plenty of time!! stretched over several floors we were unfortunately rushed out of the building before we could see it all, and we'd had 6 hours!!!

A very interesting experience, the Klimahaus is great for children and adults alike to explore and learn. It's quite large, so plan on being there for at least several hours.

I was in Bremerhaven for the day whilst waiting for a friend to finish work, when I came across this place as I crossed the bridge from the Colombo centre. I had no idea what it was all about inside, just that it was a museum of some sort. 15€ admission fee which is very reasonable I thought, especially as... More

I actually visited the Climate House in March 2012, but only realized that it was here to review on Trip Advisor today. I loved going to this place and feeling the different temperatures and imagining I was in each country. Lying on a mattress and seeing a film of camels and then being in a cold place with ice and... Been to the klimahaus today. Good attraction for a cold December day! You embark on a journey around the world, experiencing climates, landscapes and cultures of around eight countries. Niger and Cameroon were particular favourites, great to warm up! The rope bridge was pretty cool. It is a relaxing experience, good photo opportunities too. The fish were cool!
