One of the best museums Germany has

I love it, they put a lot of heart into the extensive displays, it's far bigger than you'd think. It's got good descriptions and is overall a fantastic place to visit.

Half of the interactiv thing wasn't working and the 1/3 of the museum was closed off because of renovation until spring 2016. Not very clear. All information were in german.

Great show, much to see and learn. Many things collected and exhibited in attractive displays and professionally approached. It was difficult to find the thread of the exhibition. A little worn, some interactive things did not work. Only few explanations in English.

We have been invited for an Exhibition of Ruanda. There was a very nice discusion about the new developing Economy. But even if there is no Event, they got a lot of Thinges to Do and to watch.

Ethnographic and natural historical museum in one. Dealing furthermore with several continents. A bit too much for my liking. Superficial and haphazard. Some nice pieces though and maybe nice for children.

This is another nice museum. I'm a student so the ticket was for 4.5 Euro. It's a overseas museum, so there was some topic about all kind of people like Asia, Africa etc. Enjoyed so much.

I chose this museum because of its vicinity to the main railway station. We came to Bremen in the morning and went back to Hamburg in the evening. Bremen is a rather small town, so we walked to the center (about 1 km), and my idea was to visit the museum on our way back, waiting inside for the train... More

Lots of different religious items, tribal outfits, wooden utensils, musical instruments, interesting facts and information from all over the world. This is located right next to the main train station, so you can easily go in for a few hours and look at all the things. Some aspects are interactive, for example audio to listen to and question-and-answer trivia.
