Lots of different religious items, tribal outfits, wooden utensils, musical instruments, interesting facts and information from all over the world. This is located right next to the main train station, so you can easily go in for a few hours and look at all the things. Some aspects are interactive, for example audio to listen to and question-and-answer trivia.

We visited this museum for the second time this holiday. Its located next to the train station and our hotel was 500 meters down the road. If its raining or cold outside I can recommend the place for families with children. The museum is not one of these very modern ones were the little ones can touch and try everything,... More

Excellent site with lots of historic charm, only visited on the last visit to Bremen but worth it. Located right in the centre of town and not to far away from anything... which is pretty much like all parts of bremen!!

They didnt have English programs(They had ran out but offfered a tour) but even with no german language you can see the history of Bremen as a historical port town with all its fab exhibits, a real eye opener on how European ports were so influential in global trade, great kids area too. 6 euros adult and you can leave... visited the museum with my kids on a rainy day and we all enjoyed the visit. Each floor has it's theme (cultures from each continent, nature, bremen, ...)

Impressive when you enter into the Oceania and Asia spaces. The museum has been modernised and so isn't just 'dry' glass cabinets, although they have clearly retained some of their older exibits (e.g. a variety of stuffed animals). My mate wasn't too impressed but I thought it was good and I think kids would like it as there are a... More

This museum is very interesting, it stirs up curiosity (many colours, stuffed animals, scale models) and it stimulates not only sight, but also hearing, smell and touch. It's huge, it takes at least 2 hours to visit it all. The museum offers special guided tours for groups of children and/or pupils. What I didn't like: very few writings translated into... More
