We have visited the Rathaus and wnoyed the smell of wine everywhere than we had dinner there...I remember not too much for the huge amount of veeery good wine but I remember that dishes were all really good, tipical of Germany but also rich in spieces! If you go to Bremen you MUST try the Rathaus kitchen!

Amazing history of the building and the city. An very routined guide showed us around in the rathous in a group of around 15 tourists. The building is filled with history with paintings, furnitures, walls and cielings. It has been renewed several times which leaved a little mixed impression. Tickets are bought in the tourist office at opposite site of... More

This is a wonderful square that is equally attractive summer and winter and day, evening or night. I especially like this square late evenings after or during the rain. There are plenty for the eye but also good bars and restaurants. To me this is a German must.

the townhall of Bremen is without doubt one of the most beautifull buildings in Germany. If you have the chance to get a guided tour to the upper hall it would be a great impression. You can easily compare this building to the buildings at the grand place in Brussels. If you are looking from outside you also can find... More

Magnificent Town Hall in the city centre Marktplatz of Bremen. A rare opportunity to view the ornate brick Gothic architecture of this fabulous European Rathaus. Next to St. Peter's Cathedral, these buildings anchor the city centre Marktplatz with the statue of Roland in front of the Town Hall. In 2004, Bremen Town Hall and the Statue of Roland were named... We found a great varieties of local artisans inside the City Hall, sheltered from rainy weather in the old building.

Actually this is one of the not too many places to see in Bremen. I like that there is parking house close by, the whole street of modern shopping mall and a small recreational park.
