Probably the most beautiful building in Altstadt. A walk up to the tower cost 2 EUR. A bit more than 30 (probably around 270) spiral narrow stairs will take you all the way up to the tower where you can rest and enjoy the view. Behind the St. Petri Dom you'll find access to Bleikeller, a crypt with eight mummified... More

Whether its from the inside or the outside, this building is really nice and gives cool pictures during the day and the night. You can go up the tower if you are Lucky and its open...they were working on it last time i tried

We really enjoyed visiting this church and learning more about the history of Christians in Bremen. There are a stone sculpture and a grave marker that date back to the 11th century (1099), and lots of beautiful art and architecture to see from that time to the present day. We liked the recent cast iron candle table into which Ich... More

Love the way the cathedral is painted on the ceiling, a very interesting church, there is a significant history about the church you get on the Rathaus tour, eg the ground has had a church on site for 700 plus years

A really fascinating Cathedral with some interesting modern stained glass. Particularly liked the large window picturing Adam and Eve and their apples. The mischievous looking serpent seemed to be telling Eve it was one of her " five a day". Other windows included a well crafted nativity scene with modern depiction and interpretation.( Photo will be our Christmas Card).

Its beautiful and free to visit. It's nice and cool on a warm day, it's peaceful inside and has beautiful stained glass windows. We were lucky to be there when a female vocal choir was practicing. we really enjoyed it. you can also go up into the tower and have a great view of the city. We didn't manage to... More

I needed a place to say a prayer and light a candle for my Mom while away in Bremen. I chose this church and so glad I did. It is beautiful and has a museum with some older pieces from the church as it's needed renovation through the years due to fire and age. It has a downstairs chamber for... More

Easily worth a visit if you are ever in Bremen. Tastefully restored although better on the outside. You can climb the tower for a fee although this is closed in the winter months.

The outside promises much, yet inside was a little disappointing. Obviously the place was rebuilt after being bombed in the war, but too much of it is faked, and the lighting is not good. Some of the stained glass windows are stunning, so it is worth visiting to see these.

The recent stained glass windows are stunning. The painted concrete columns and walls are a brave effort that almost works in the dim lighting. Considering the number of overseas visitors , very little translated material to guide you around. No booklet about the windows either.
