Universum Science Center

Very good place to those who like Science. Interesting exposition that belongs to University of Bremen is interactive and you can experience it. Stays close to University.

A place manily for children, with many practical explanation about natural and human phenomena. I was not disappointed, but I expected something a little more "spectacular". In any case worth of a visit with the family.

My experience was really disappointing. Me and my friends were expecting a good day at the museum, but when we arrived there the receptionist advises us that there are nothing in english and it's better don't go inside if we don't understand german. The question is why the museum doesn't have translations?

Came across a flyer for this museum tucked in a drawer at our holiday rental! It is a little way out from Bremen centre, though a direct tram (6) from the centre gets you within a couple of hundred yards, and takes no more than twenty minutes. Calling it a 'museum' is rather misleading, as this is a place to... More

Six adults on the loose in Bremen for the Christmas markets, and we needed somewhere warm to go one day when the frost threatened to bite our toes off. Our hotel suggested the Universum! In a building resembling a flying saucer, a brilliantly presented set of displays, embracing very many areas of science; lots of hands-ons, feelies and walk-throughs including... More

We had a spare morning in Bremen, and this was a fun way to spend a couple of hours (and there was enough to do we could have spent longer there). It's a museum based around hands-on interaction and puzzles to teach principles of science - there were a wide range of activities that appealed not only to my 3... More

Rainy day in Bremen. What to do? Go to the Universum. Family ticket was €40 for 2 adults and 2 kids. The set up is good with themes and the lay-out is good enough. Sometimes a bit confusing but nothing that is considered a downside. We had a really god time with the many hands on things that you could... More

A very nice and fascinating museum not only for children but for curious adults as well. Plan for enough time there is so much to see and do there!

This is a well designed and operated facility for hands on science experience. You can travel in the floor with learning at every step. Lots of exhibits and everything is working without any exceptions, and you can find English descriptions of them also. Staff is also helpfull. You can easily reach there from Hauptbahnhof Tram Station with Route 6 Universitat.... More

We stopped at the Universum Science Center on the way home on a recent road trip. If I had known how interesting this museum was, we would have planned to spend the whole afternoon there and spent the night in the next-door hotel. It is not just for children; it is interesting for all ages. There are different exhibits for... More
