My friend and I travelled straight from the airport to this company, left our hand luggage in their base and went off for a 4.5 hour city tour. Brilliant way of finding out all about Berlin history and orientating ourselves to how Berlin was actually set out. Fascinating facts easily delivered at so many different points of interest. Fascinating. Stopped... More

I did the evening dinner tour with my two friend and had a blast. Total, our group was 4 with our guide (Kevin), who was absolutely awesome and had amazing knowledge of the area and overall history of Germany. So far i'v been on 8 other tours all throughout Europe, and they mostly consisted of a bunch of old people... More

I couldn't believe how much fun this was. Kevin did a great job and the whole group had a fun time! They showed us everything and gave us a brief tour of the city with the dinner time tour.

My fiancé and I went on the Third Reich and Nazi Germany bike tour with Neil. While a very heavy and solemn topic, Neil balanced the tour perfectly without making light of the topic but also making sure the whole tour wasn't "doom and gloom". The information delivery was exceptional and being able to be at such significant places in... More

On 17th of April me and my husband did this great city day tour with 10 other people. It was an easy ride and the bikes in good condition. It was a great tour and a fantastic way of seeing and exploring the monuments and the history in Berlin. Alister our tour guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. It was... More

I would highly recommend this tour. I pre-booked my time slot before heading to Berlin. The place was easy to find, bikes all in good condition, tour guides are very knowledgeable. A great way to see all the sights in Berlin, understand some of the history and get to know your way around.

My second time doing the tour (day tour). Really good way to discover the main sights and get ideas where to head next. Bikes in good condition and our guide (Kevin) was excellent! Recommended to anybody that is able to ride a bike.

Myself and 4 other girls (the rowdy Irish crowd!) went on this cycle tour on the 18th of April. We were all a bit sceptical as none of us had cycled in years, but it was so easy and relaxed. Andrew was our tour guide. His knowledge of Berlin and it's history was maticulous. We were all so impressed. I... More

We booked this tour on line for our 3 day break in Berlin. Our guide was Kyla who was very informative and interesting and also had a great sense of humour. We toured a lot of the sights we wanted to see in lovely weather (sunny but a bit chilly) and had a great time. The lunch stop at the... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
