Decided to partake in a four hour walk day after the marathon was I mad or just wanting to explore Berlin , a little of both . However what a great day, the sun was shining and Rick our host (originally from Pittsburg USA) was both amusing and extremely knowledgable. We were a large group but he kept our attention... More

It was a cloudy day made very enjoyable and informative by Jemma our tour guide. From detailed historical facts to Berlin folktales, Berlin came alive for me. I highly recommend taking this tour and you will be lucky if Jemma is on duty that day! Who knew that Victoria in her chariot on top of Brandenburger Gate was stolen and... More

We were a group of 4 on this trip. Dennis was an amazing guide. He told us a well edited history of Hitler's rise to power to set the scene and then took us through the building of Sachsenhausen with one character as a thread running through the day. Harry Naujoks. By individualising the experience it hit home even more.... More

We went on a tour with Philippa and were really happy we did. She gives you all the important historical facts, interesting and detailed enough to learn something but simplified enough not to confuse you too much. I would definitely recommend the tour.

One of the bests walking tours I have ever done. Takes long time but worth. Rick was excellent tour guide (22.09.2014). Very enthusiastic about Berlin, very good explanations, attentive to details, very friendly and creates an excellent atmosphere during the tour. I give 10/10 to Rick who showed extensive knowledge about the city, history, and reccomended very nice places to eat,... More

We took the Discover Berlin (Tour 1) starting from the East meeting point at Restaurant Weihenstephaner. It was a fantastic, interesting and informative journey through Berlin's past and present. You also came away from the tour with some working idea of the layout of this huge city and how the various landmarks connect to one another. Our American tour guide Rick... More

Yesterday myself and 3 friends went on the walking tour to sachsanhausen camp with DENNIS. I couldn't fault this tour. Dennis was so genuinely interested in the group as a whole and the history of Germany and the camp. He did a great and easy to understand introduction to Germany and it's politics, easy for everybody no matter what nationality... More

Did the infamous Third Reich tour with guide Alex that took us on this walk. The city was in total chaos due to the Berlin Marathon. Alex warned us to be patient. Amidst all the road closures and insanity, our guide provided what I would say was my best guided tour in all of Europe. An expert on the subject... More

If like me, you prefer to get real insight into holiday destinations rather than a 'tourist site safari' then book a tour now. It's an amazing insight to the incredible recent history of Berlin, saves you hours looking for the interesting sites, but most importantly our guide (Caroline) was fantastic; she gave real insight into the city, was friendly, funny,... Finn was our private guide for our tour in Berlin. At first I was disappointed to find he was neither German or Jewish but he turned out to be an excellent guide with extensive historical information and personal experience. He was enthusiastic, extremely flexible in how he was willing to conduct the tour and a pleasure to be with.
