This was an absolutely terrible walking tour. Our group was 58 people! It was hard to hear our guide and with this many people, the tour was pretty useless in terms of learning anything about the city. If you decide to go with this walking tour, ask how many people are in each tour as 58 is clearly unacceptable.

Went on the Berlin tour 10.30 am Tuesday 22/7/14 with Lorna from Scarborough. It was 4 hours of my life that flew by. She was funny and very very well informed. I learnt so many new things and also the things I thought i knew... I didn't really know them at all. It was a superb introduction to Berlin and... More

I've been on a lot of tours in a lot of cities. This one was by far the best. Caroline really, really knows her stuff, so you'll get a thoughtful and deep tour of an incredibly complex city. Was fascinated and hanging on her every word during the entire tour.

Just had a great walking tour this afternoon led by Mort, and American who has lived in Germany for a number of years. Toured the sites of the 3rd Reich, and even though much of it is destroyed, Mort made it visible with his wonderful historical storytelling. Be prepared to do a lot of standing and walking but if you... More

I don't normally like organized tours, and so was reluctant to consider this one despite the fantastic reviews. But after getting lost just a few blocks from my hotel the first night of my trip, I decided I needed a professional to help me get my bearings in the city. Boy was I glad I did! Our tour guide Rick... More

A brilliantly memorable tour of some of the main sites of the third Reich. Barnaby takes a disturbing but fascinating subject and treats it with the dignity it deserves while keeping it engrossing and entertaining, even funny. The measure of a guide is how well he can handle off-the-cuff questions, and Barnaby excels here. It was his knowledge of tiny... More

We recently did the 4 hour historical walking tour. It is a good introduction to Berlin and takes in many of the main sites such as Museum island, Checkpoint Charlie, Brandenberg gate, Hitler's bunker, Jewish memorial as well as other less well known but interesting sites. Our guide Michael was knowledgeable and helpful, with a genuine interest and passion for... More

Our tour guide (Barry from Ireland) did a great job of showing us the main sites in Berlin. Barry was knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. Don't be scared by the 4 hour tour length - it flew by, and there is a break midway. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Berlin for the first... More
