We came here twice for breakfast. the view is lovely and my husband enjoyed feeding crumbs to the friendly sparrows hopping around at our table. The staff spoke perfect english. I loved their chocolate croissant. Also one of their breakfast combos of scrambled egg atop a freshly made potato pancake was delicious. Since we do not eat ham, the staff... More

Nice place a few meters from ku'damm. Summer time a pretty small garden with some tables (that you cannot reserve). On a Sunday just got forever to get served (overall 2h00 for a simple main course and a dessert). Good chicken-fettuccine and tasteless apple strudel. Minimalistic service.

We dropped into this superb place tonight after a full day out in Berlin. We hadn't booked but were given a window seat in the main restaurant. The service was lovely from a girl who was a Berliner and spoke impeccable English. Thanks for that!! The food, ambience and surroundings were stunning. What a most beautiful house and garden. We... We visited for breakfast on a beautiful sunny morning. The building and surrounding area are stunning. Unfortunately, the breakfast experience itself was awful. Every item arrived separately and had to be chased after a long wait. We had finished our coffee before the bread rolls arrived. We then had to chase the cheese and sausage to go with the bread.... One of the classiest places to have a nice breakfast in Berlin. A mystical ambiance, castle like with very nice garden! Food and coffee is delicious! Try to book the in the glass room... A must when visiting Berlin.

Most of the reviews on TripAdviser recommend breakfast here and I am sure that is excellent however we went for dinner whcih was fabulous. We ate in the glassy atrium area at the front of the cafe whcih was cosy and leafy and on cold Berlin evening. The food was delicious. An amazing geleed duck terrine was delicate and tasty... More

I went here on my last day in Berlin for breakfast. The service was very polite, i only speak English and they had no problem with this. My breakfast came quickly and was piping hot and delicious. The coffee is lovely, with soya milk option which isn't that common in Berlin i've found. I sat outside, inside looked very pretty... More

Very nice location next to Kathy Kollowitz museum, very tranquil outside and buzzing inside. Tasty food (small portion) and cakes. Somewhat slow service at busy time. Loved the vibe.

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
