We was there for dinner during the Fashion Week. The location is pretty cool, also the stuff and the food was very tasteful. Had burgers and some frozen Gin drinks & hang around with the cool (inked) kids.

We arrived and were immediately asked to chip in a fee to pay for a DJ (there is a fee EVERY night). The DJ didn't do anything but stand and pick songs. The Waiter started off well and promptly delivered our drinks. Then, we had to wait almost 20 minutes to to order our dinner. Our waiter mostly ignored us... More

Endless wait for the food. Loud band. Terrible service. Hire more waiters and chefs if you can't handle the demand. Charged 5 euro to get in even with a table reservation. Watered down pitchers of bad drinks.

White Trash does it right with their menu, offering plenty of delectable and mouthwatering options. They use fresh ingredients so be cautious if you go with one peppers or jalapenos. They usually offer a band or two so be prepared for a loud venue once 9 or 10pm rolls around. It's a bit off the beaten path location-wise but there... More

Visit: on Sunday 24 May 2015 There was a group of 16 of us. The good: - fun atmosphere and interesting surroundings. - pitchers of beers are fine. - the band (which came on after about an hour) were really good. - the scouser waitress was really nice and got drinks sorted out quickly. - the manager was reasonable about... We found this place after a lengthy walk through Görlitzer Park in the rain due to underestimating distance on a map. Don't make our mistake - that can be a downright scary part of town; I know of few places in inner London with the same ill-at-ease omen!! So get there on the train or in a cab :) Once... More

First of all, I've never been to a restaurant where they have a cover charge. Even when you've reserved a table and are clearly there to eat (not just to drink and watch some band), you have to pay € 3,-. That's odd to me. The entourage (going in through a demolished bus, into a pretty large garden and the... More

When I first approached the exterior of White Trash I was not completely convinced, but inside the atmosphere was just awesome. There were old black and white movies playing soundless in the background, the decor reminded me a bit of a flea market gone underground. I ordered the original burger, veggie version and it was a messy, delicious bundle of... More

Very good burgers. I ate the Marquee de Fuck Burger with raclette on it. Awesome. And the onion rings, the best in my life!

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighborhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighborhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
