A must, if only to experience something different!

We've not visited this bar since 1991 and it's hardly changed! I'm sure the UK health and safety laws would have a field day here but that just adds to its charm. Don't visit if... read more

We've not visited this bar since 1991 and it's hardly changed! I'm sure the UK health and safety laws would have a field day here but that just adds to its charm. Don't visit if you are squeamish but certainly worth a visit if you're not and you want to experience something VERY different. Take your cheque book though, not... More

Certainly the strangest put I've ever been in but great fun. My non drinking girlfriend who usually is bored after 20 minutes in a pub also loved it. The staff were really friendly and service was quick. There have been some comments here saying that the pub is overly expensive, I had two litres of beer and my girlfriend had... More

We went there at a recommendation of a friend, expecting a bizarre experience. The place is designed as a haunted mansion / public toilet booth, which is always fun. We didn't mind not getting any of the jokes told by the DJ host, who kept on babbling on German for the entire evening straight, nor the intentionally rude (yet playful)... More

When you walk in the door you get squirted with water and when you visit the bathroom you get greeted by a big bear. Stuff is moving and weird sounds echoes around the whole place. The alcohol is served in all strange things you can think of. The waiter that served us was really funny and took the time to... More

Sitting in at timepocket (opened in the 50's) Das klo (try Google translate) is a pace where you can receive insults from a guy who is half DJ and half standup. If you want the "good" seats with webcam and weird things going on close to the DJ, you have to book in advance. The experience especially first time you... More

It's by far one of the most fun and popular attractions in Berlin Germany. Entering the KLO is like stepping onto an Indiana Jones movie. Sit down, buckle up, and enjoy the ride. The entrance to the KLO is quite surprising, water sprinles, blast of hot air sends ladies dresses flying high in the air, and in the glass cases... More

I went there with my two friends, we laughed all night long with the bartender and the waiters that are very nice and friendly. The pub is decorated as a Halloween party, just great. You have to see it by yourself. We went there four more times until we left berlin. A must place to be if you go to... More

If you to drink beer from "night pot" and to see and hear nasty jokes you came to the right place :) Quite interesting bar, but service is not so good, and you can't dance here.

When we arrived at our hotel we asked the receptionist for suggestions for a bar. She recommended the Klo bar, so off we went. She did say it was called the toilet and she wasn't wrong!! There is a toilet seat on the door but be careful when you enter as you may get squirted on entry. The décor is... More

Crazy place with a dj who is rude in a funny way. Brilliant decorated. Go and take a look. We went around 7.30 and in no time the place was full.

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
