Lovely Spot

Had lovely soup and cake at the cafe... not quite as nice as in the Summer - but great place to stop, have a drink and admire the Autumn colours mid-walk...

Tucked in the park in town. The service is good and food very yummy. The pizzas are a must have. Great value for money in an authentic restaurant.

Next door to Das Stue Very casual sit down location We had a delicious lunch of thin crust pizza and some beer after a long walk/museum tour in the city Next to zoo with great views of the park and zoo. Good walking area for after lunch around embassy row. We enjoyed the atmosphere so we booked again for a... More

Very rude service, bad food, much more expensive than the average in Berlin, we payed more than 80 euros for 3 poor salads, two soups, one bottle of water, 3 beers and 2 desserts. One of my friend payed 13 euros for a very poor salad with no-taste and very small piece of avcado, 2 slices of tomato and a... More

the site is within the tiergarten near the Spanish consulate . it has two rooms with a richer and well decorated , where waiters serve you . and another with simple tables and collective near the lake. to eat them you must go to the simplest place where they serve pasta, meat, pizza, drinks and sobrimesa . you can rent... Lovely place for a beer in the sun, choice of a few different beers, and a few wines. We had food in the restaurant, which was not great, 1/2 chicken was tasteless and slightly cold and the Tarte flambée, (Alsatian pizza with creme fresh ) was undercooked. So go for the beer in the sun, avoid the food ( or... More

The location is very nice next to the Tiergarten and the Spanish embassy and I believe it has seen better days before. The food is average, looking on the quality the price is slightly high. What was really annoying for me was the fact that I had no luck with the cleanliness. My cutlery and my glass was dirty and... More

I went here on a Monday afternoon, during the summer after visiting the Zoo. There is a lot of space, sitting on a beer table or chilling on the wooden lounge seats. It was self service, 0,5 L beer ?4,40 or pizza/pasta ?8-10. Also some deserts like waffles or cake/ice cream. I had a pizza with a very nice thin... More

one of the nicest beer garden in Berlin if the weather is nice, see and be seen. Also very nice breakfast on sundays in the Cafepavillon inside, good decoration. This place is an institution for Berliners and a nice visit for visitors.

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
