We read some of the earlier reviews about Harald's expert tours and signed on for our first visit to Berlin. Harald was an excellent tour guide and our time spent with him was one of the highlights of our Berlin visit. He was thorough and extremely knowledgeable and very effectively tailored the tour to focus on our particular interests. He... More

Harald was recommended to me by my travel agent and what a great find. My companion and I were in Berlin for two full days of touring and spent 1 and 1/2 days with Harald covering so much of the city, both east and west, and the history. The comments of others are so true - Harald is very knowledgeable... More

We had a stop in Berlin on our Baltic cruise and were trying to figure out the best way to see the city. My family normally books the cruise tours, but with Berlin being 2.5 hours from Wandermunde, and us wanting to capitalize on the few hours we actually had in Berlin, we decided to search for a private guide.... Our group of six booked Harald and his driver to pick us up at the Rostock cruise port. After a 2 1/2 hour ride we met him in Berlin. Harald is a very personable gentleman who is a veritable fountain of knowledge pertaining to anything in Berlin. He caters to your wishes. if you want to see something or skip... More

We visited Berlin with our 3 teenage kids for a couple of days and booked Harald for a historic/jewish tour of Berlin! We were all blown away by Harald's deep (and seemingly never ending) knowledge on so many Berlin topics. Our 3 teenagers (who can be a tough crowd) were super engaged and were soaking up all the facts and... More

We found Harald based on his Trip Advisor reviews and were rewarded with a rich and stimulating 2-hour walking tour of Jewish Berlin. He is intelligent, personable, articulate and considerate. The places we visited and the stories he told made a huge impact on us. When it was time to say goodbye it was like parting ways with a family... More

Harald Zawuski is the sort of tour guide you wish other guides would emulate. He seems to just have a sense of what you want, how much of something you should spend time on and when you want to move to the next place. Brimming with tidbits of information and anecdotes, extremely personable and he gave us a wonderful introduction... More

We just returned from a Baltic cruise which we took in order to see what had been done in Berlin to commemorate and accept responsibility for the Holocaust in WW II. Harold provided the answer in an excellent fashion and gave us a new appreciation of Germany's efforts in this regard. He was full of clear explanations, spoke perfect English,... More

We had an excellent and quite comprehensive tour of Berlin as we requested from Harald, who put more into 4 hours than most people could. The World War 2 and cold war history was fascinating as well as little tit-bits of information that Harald gave us at the sites or travelling between the sites. The coffee stop at checkpoint charlie... More
