We provide a comfy bike and an experienced & entertaining guide. In just 3 hours you will discover one of the most fascinating cities on earth!

We love Berlin and feel at home on its streets. Our guides are Berlin-experts: experienced, entertaining & just as diverse as our guests. That's why we offer tours with personality & great quality since 2008.

We start our tours at the Nikolaiviertel in front of the Nikolai Church. That's just 5 mins. away from the TV-Tower/Alexanderplatz - it couldn't be more central!

Bike Tours are THE BEST way to explore Berlin. You won't get stuck in traffic, you will breath fresh air and enjoy quiet ways through the city. All the sights are within reach. Every 5-10 mins. we stop at spots of interest and chat. It's a relaxing activity. Promise!

THESE TOURS are on offer daily at 2.30 pm (Reservation recommended):

1. BERLIN'S BEST - the perfect overview

2. POOR BUT SEXY - the alternative Berlin

3. THE WALL / THIRD REICH - history for dummies

4. TOP SECRET - hidden places

Another city, another free walking tour. Up to usual standard with an enthusiastic knowledgable guide taking our family around. Don't think twice about using these great guides wherever you go.

Jonathan is extremely passionate about his company and absolutely hilarious! We went on a very hot day in July 2015 and the 3 hours still flew by; he was inspirational! He told the history with a true vibrance and honest love of the city as well as pointing us to the nearest food places for an authentic apple strudel (always... More

We booked a tour but unfortunately the other people due to be on the tour didn't show up. This left just my husband and I and Free Berlin said it was not viable to run the tour with just the two of us. I was hugely disappointed until our guide Lena, said she would run the tour but we would... More

Hi you two, thanks a lot for your outstanding review! We are more than happy that everything turned out to be this satisfying for everyone in the end. Lena enjoyed it a lot, too, and we forwarded your lovely words to her. And yes, sometimes it can be an advantage to have such a mini-group, because it get's a lot... More

I thought the course of this tour was perfectly planned. The historical anecdotes bring the bulging architecture to life and chill your bones at Checkpoint Charlie. We found this to be a great starter to our adventure in the giant Berlin and everyone takes a lot from it.

I can't recommend this enough. It is an amazing way to hit all the major points of the city and learn a ton that you probably wouldn't have learned by just visiting everything on your own. The tour guides are knowledgeable, friendly and really make the experience. I am so glad we took this tour.

We took a private tour on one of the most difficult days you can imagine: the day before the Berlin marathon! Robert, the guy handling the bikes was very nice to the kids in our group. Our host Famia was just superb: very accommodating to our tight schedule and sorting the difficulties of road closings. We had such a fantastic... More

Myself and my partner went to Berlin for three nights and wanted to fit everything in in this short time. I researched some tours and this one kept being recommended and now I know why. Georgia was our lovely guide whose passion for Berlin and Germany shone through and made those three hours very memorable. She was captivating and so... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
